In recent years,new energy vehicles with green environmental protection,high energy conversion efficiency,good cycle performance and other advantages to meet the needs of consumers to buy cars,and continue to develop and occupy the automobile market.However,while people enjoy the comfortable experience of new energy vehicles,fires and explosions in new energy vehicles caused by thermal runaway of power lithium-ion batteries have occurred from time to time,not only seriously endangering the lives and property of drivers and passengers,but also greatly hindering the promotion and development of new energy vehicles.Therefore,the study of lithium-ion battery combustion and explosion suppression technology,the development of reliable and efficient for new energy vehicles lithium battery combustion and explosion of automatic fire extinguishing and explosion suppression system,to reduce the loss caused by fire and explosion accident is of great significance.Based on this,this paper selected ternary lithium battery,the mainstream power battery of new energy vehicles,as the research object,studied and analyzed the working principle and thermal runaway mechanism of lithium ion battery,analyzed the fire characteristics and risk of new energy vehicles,and studied the combustion and explosion suppression technology of lithium battery.The main results are as follows:(1)Through the analysis of a variety of fire extinguishing agent properties and extinguishing mechanism,based on the new energy automotive lithium-ion batteries running environment,choose HFC-227ea and CO2as the research object of inhibition of lithium ion battery burning explosion fire extinguishing agent,through test on CO2and the effect of HFC-227ea fire explosion suppression contrast analysis,obtained the fire extinguishing cooling effect are good,but the comprehensive performance of HFC-227ea is better than CO2.(2)In view of the lithium ion battery explosion combustion characteristics,based on the battery type and vehicle fire requirements,design a kind of filling of HFC-227ea fire explosion suppression device,the device structure,line selection,nozzle and so on has carried on the design,and to determine the amount of HFC-227ea filling,filling pressure,critical parameters such as spray flow.For the development of new energy vehicles fire suppression system,based on the characteristics of lithium-ion battery combustion and explosion parameters to select the appropriate sensor,according to the characteristics of new energy vehicles fire design controller,fire suppression system work,if the sensor temperature data measured a single time to trigger the fire alarm warning,the controller within the determination process immediately trigger the sensor sampling cycle control unit,enhance the sampling frequency,if three consecutive temperature data If the temperature data exceeds the threshold value three times in a row,the fire alarm will be real and the fire extinguishing device will be triggered immediately to continuously spray the fire extinguishing agent to put out the fire and reduce the temperature,and at the same time transmit the data to the relevant departments for support to reduce the harm caused by the fire.(3)Based on lithium ion battery fire explosion experimental platform of new energy vehicles,lithium battery burning explosion explosion suppression device performance verification test,the device can quickly put out the fire started,and effectively reduce the lithium ion battery temperature,validate the filling of HFC-227ea fire explosion suppression device can successfully suppress lithium ion battery burning explosion,has good practicability. |
