| Magneto-optical glass has the advantages of simple preparation,good optical performance,flexible formula,has been widely used in optical systems such as magneto-optical function devices and fiber optic integrated equipment.In this thesis,a high-temperature melting method is used to prepare magneto-optical glass based on germanium lead borosilicate,and studied the structural characteristics,physical characteristics,magneto-optical characteristics and luminescence characteristics of the Tb3+single-doped,Tb3+-Dy3+co-doped Ge O2-Pb O-B2O3-Si O2(GPbBS),Ge O2-Pb O-B2O3-Si O2-P2O5(GPbBSP)and Ge O2-B2O3-Si O2-P2O5(GBSP)magneto-optical glass.The research results are as follows:In Tb3+single-doped GPbBS and GPbBSP magneto-optical glass,density,Tb3+effective doping concentration,refractive index,theoretical optical basicity,and oxygen ion polarizability are all proportional to the Tb3+content,and GPbBS has good thermal stability,strong water resistance and alkali resistance,when the doping amount of Tb3+is 40 mol%,the Verdet constant reaches a higher value at different wavelengths,and the Verdet constant is-157.66 rad/(T·m)at the wavelength of incident light 633 nm.In Tb3+-Dy3+co-doped GPbBS and GPbBSP magneto-optical glass with stationary Tb3+ions concentration and changing Dy3+concentration,their physical properties are excellent,but the incorporation of high concentration Dy3+does not increase the luminous intensity of the glass,instead weaken its luminous intensity.When the incident light wavelength is 633 nm,the Tb3+doping concentration is 30 mol%,and the Dy3+doping concentration reaches 8 mol%,the Verdet constant of GPbBS glass is-162.90 rad/(T·m).The Verdet constant of GPbBSP glass with Tb3+doping concentration of 30 mol%and Dy3+doping concentration of 18 mol%reached-165.69 rad/(T·m),indicating that the incorporation of Dy3+improved the magneto-optical properties of the glass. |
