Research On Ecological Efficiency Evaluation Of Urban Agglomeration In The Yangtze River Delta

Since the implementation of the reform and opening up in my country,the urbanization rate has increased significantly,the exchanges between various regions have become closer,the ties have been continuously strengthened,and the development pattern centered on urban agglomerations has also been continuously formed in my country.There are many urban agglomerations in my country,but the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is the fastest growing and the most powerful.Although the development of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is relatively rapid,it still encounters some problems in the development process,among which the most worthy of attention is the ecological environment.How to have a good development of the ecological environment while the economy is developing rapidly is a problem we need to think about.This paper takes the ecological efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration as a perspective,selects the panel data of 27 central area cities in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration from 2009 to 2018,determines an appropriate index system,uses the super-efficiency SBM-DEA model to measure the efficiency value and conducts a static level.In order to explore the problems in the ecological development of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,the Malmquist index method is used for dynamic analysis,and on this basis,Tobit regression is used to further analyze the factors affecting ecological efficiency.The results show that: from the static analysis results,overall,the ecological efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is at a relatively low level,and there is still a lot of room for development in the future;the average ecological efficiency of the three provinces and one city shows different trends,There are obvious differences.From the dynamic analysis results,the Malmquist index of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration grew at an average annual rate of 20.1% from 2009 to 2018.The regional differences in the Malmquist index of 27 cities are more obvious;from the perspective of decomposition,technological progress has an impact on the Malmquist index.It has a greater impact,and changes in technical efficiency have less impact on the Malmquist index.The results of analysis of influencing factors using the Tobit model show that the level of regional economic development and foreign direct investment have a positive impact on the ecological efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,but the relationship is not significant;optimize industrial structure,upgrade science and technology,and increase energy conservation Environmental protection expenditure has a significant role in promoting the improvement of eco-efficiency;the increase of coal-based energy consumption is not conducive to the improvement of the eco-efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta city cluster.Based on this result,this article proposes to establish a provincial eco-efficiency assessment mechanism,strengthen law enforcement and supervision;vigorously promote technological progress;carry out pollution monitoring,improve pollution early warning systems;strengthen regional exchanges and cooperation;focus on industrial structure upgrades;and maintain a common ecological environment.
