Study On River Health Assessment In Areas With Ceaseless Human Activities

The health assessment of natural rivers takes the state of being undisturbed by human activities as the reference state,and the goal of river health is to restore to the original state.On the one hand,rivers under strong human activities lack references to their original state;on the other hand,the health of rivers has changed from an initial static health to a dynamic that can be adjusted within a certain range,can maintain the continuous development of the river,and provide value for humans.health.With the deepening of urbanization,rivers are increasingly affected by human activities,and the research on river health assessment under strong human activities is particularly important.The analytic hierarchy process is used to construct a comprehensive evaluation index system including hydrology and water resources,physical structure,chemistry,biology,and social service functions.The subjective weighting method is compared with the improved analytic hierarchy process,and reasonable weights are allocated for each indicator,which lays the method foundation for the health assessment.Based on the impact of strong human activities on rivers,this research proposes river health assessment under strong human activities and constructs a river health assessment system under strong human activities.Taking Nanpai River as an example of the river under strong human activities,the health assessment of Nanpai River was carried out.The results show that the health status of Nanpai River is sub-healthy.Analyze the main problems affecting the health of the river and identify the key health factors.Poor water quality and small flow are the main factors affecting the Nanpai River.In terms of water quality,water volume,river bank stability,etc.,an effective,feasible,and operable adaptive management strategy is given for the pressure factor..This study finds out the health status of Nanpai River and provides theoretical support for subsequent comprehensive river management.Provide reference for river health assessment and management in other areas with strong human activities.
