The river is the carriers of human civilization.With the development of economy,the population density has increased,meanwhile,the degree of water resources development and utilization is getting higher and higher.However,most of the rivers in the north have serious water pollution dry flow,and serious damage to the riparian zone.The ecological function of rivers is gradually losing and the ecological health of rivers is getting worse.How to accurately evaluate the ecological health status of northern rivers and design comprehensive regulation plans according to the evaluation results is an urgent problem to be solved in building an ecological health society.Based on the characteristics and status quo of Xinghua River,this thesis obtained the ecological health data of different years through field investigation,selected out 15 evaluation indexes by principal component analysis,and used the structure entropy weight method and the harmony degree evaluation method to evaluate the health of water resources protection,water shoreline protection,water pollution control,water ecological management and social attribute.The comprehensive health status was divided into five levels: excellent,good,average,poor and extremely poor.The five years of the Xinghua River were evaluated as "poor" in 2011(0.3025),"poor" in 2012(0.3468),"medium" in 2013(0.4038),and "medium" in 2014(0.4643).2015(0.3689)"Poor" evaluation results,ecological health is not optimistic.With tank storage method,hydraulic radius method,Tennant method checking the ecological water demand,guided by the evaluation results of river ecological restoration to carry out the comprehensive improvement of research.In view of the existing problems of Xinghua River,appropriate ecological restoration technologies,such as water system construction,river-type wetland construction,reclaimed water cascade utilization engineering,etc.Finally,under the condition that the comprehensive regulation of Xinghua River has been partially completed,the ecological health evaluation was carried out again and the evaluation result was "good" in 2020(0.7497),which declared the well effects of ecological construction and status appears distinct improvement.The results showed that the ecological management has a positive role to improve river water quality and ecological system structure,which provided a reference for the future systematic health evaluation and ecological restoration of rivers in the north.
