LTCC(Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic)thermal cutting technology is to preheat the raw ceramic strip made of low temperature sintered ceramic powder and cut it into individual products。Thus,the cutting process directly affects the form factor of the final LTCC product and the accuracy and qualification rate of the subsequent framing process.The cutting process of traditional thermal cutting equipment is complicated in operation and low in automation.In this article,we have chosen to study the cutting and positioning vision system and image processing algorithm of LTCC thermal cutting machine in order to realize automatic positioning and cutting of thermal cutting machine with high precision.The research work and innovation results of this article are as follows:(1)The overall framework of the vision system was built,including hardware selection and software function design of the upper computer.According to the cutting accuracy of the hot cutting machine,the selection of industrial camera and telecentric lens is completed;according to the hot cutting process,the software functions of the vision system platform are determined,including the image processing module,the workbench parameter calibration module,the control volume calculation module and the control volume parameter correction module.(2)An image processing algorithm conforming to the visual positioning of the hot cutting machine is proposed.This paper analyzes the mechanism motion relationship of the hot-cutting process and platform firstly,and proposes the image processing algorithm flow for automatic positioning of the hot-cutting machine cutting.Then the center position of Mark of raw porcelain tile is detected by image template matching and image similarity is calculated by using the improved Hu invariant moment;the straight line of the knife mark is determined by changing the gray value of the image of the initial knife mark;then the Y-directional movement and angular offset of the worktable when cutting raw porcelain tile are calculated by image processing according to the relationship between the straight line and the position of Mark.For the telecentric lens,a calibration method is proposed to establish the coordinate conversion relationship between the image and the worktable of the hot cutting machine,and to calculate the actual Ydirectional offset and angular offset of the worktable.(3)The software integration of the vision system of the hot cutting machine was completed.In this article,the visualization interface of the system is designed based on Py Qt,and the image processing algorithm packaging and humancomputer interaction are realized;using the integrated software,raw porcelain tile cutting experiments are conducted and the errors are compensated.The experimental results show that the proposed vision positioning algorithm achieves a positioning accuracy of 0.03 mm in automatic vision positioning with the hot cutting machine;the integrated software achieves a good encapsulation of the proposed image processing algorithm,and the vision system performs well and basically meets the expected requirements.
