Abstract/Summary:
In recent years, with the development of emerging agricultural resources, pesticides have become more and more widely used in farmland cultivation. At the same time, the use of herbicides has also increased year by year. The problem of pesticide damage caused by improper application of herbicides is also increasing, and Heavy metal pollution is one of the issues of widespread international concern.Cadmium and lead are the most important heavy metal pollutants in the environment. In the past years, the environmental problems caused by heavy metal-herbicides have become increasingly serious, but there are few related studies on the interactions and toxic effects of heavy metal-herbicides in the environment. This article uses two different formulations of butachlor(emulsifier and water emulsion). As a material, soil cultivation was used to simulate rice planting in the field. The effects of butachlor application on cadmium and lead availability in soil, physiological characteristics of rice growth, and absorption of cadmium and lead by rice plants were studied under cadmium and lead stress. In order to clarify the toxic effects of heavy metal-herbicides on the plant environment, this study has practical significance for the safe production of rice and the protection of plant and human health. The main conclusions reached are as follows:(1)The application of butachlor can promote the increase of the effective content of cadmium and lead in the soil.Without the application of butachlor, cadmium and lead can mutually promote their soil effectiveness, but the application of butachlor has a stronger promotion effect. The effective content of cadmium and lead in the soil increased first and then decreased with the increase of the concentration of butachlor. The maximum concentration of the concentration of butachlor was 6mg/kg or 8mg /kg.Butachlor EC is more effective in promoting soil cadmium and lead availability than water emulsion EC.(2)The application of butachlor intensified the inhibitory effect of cadmium and lead stress on rice growth and reduced the chlorophyll content of rice, and caused changes in superoxide free radical generation rate, malondialdehyde content, and antioxidant enzyme activities in rice leaves.,Rice O2-production rate and MDA content were increased to different degrees, while SOD activity,POD activity and CAT activity showed a trend of first increase and then decrease.(3)Under the stress of 1mg/kg cadmium and 250 mg/kg lead in soil, the application of butachlor can promote the absorption of cadmium and lead by rice.Application of 10 mg/kg butachlor increased the cadmium content in the ground, and increased the lead content in the ground and the lead in the rice by 107.16% and-27.5%,respectively.The application of high-concentration butachlor will reduce the cadmium and lead transport coefficients of rice and cause most of the cadmium and lead to accumulate in the roots of rice.Simultaneous application of butachlor will increase the cadmium and lead content in brown rice and endanger rice yield.
