Research On The Development Strategy Of Carbon Finance Business Of Chinese Commercial Banks

Since the 21 st century,the problem of environmental damage has become increasingly prominent,and countries all over the world have taken green sustainable development as the first criterion.With the continuous advancement of industrialized society,it has brought severe environmental challenges to the world.The public generally began to study and think about how to make development and environmental protection go hand in hand.As a result,green development has gradually become the main theme of development,especially after entering this century,countries around the world have reached a consensus on the scientific concept of development and sustainable development.In order to promote international cooperation and effectively restrict the unscientific traditional way of development,the United Nations has held many world climate conferences,which has made people gradually realize that energy conservation and emission reduction is the only way to deal with the current severe environmental situation.As the largest carbon emission country in the world,China’s total carbon emissions increase year after year,so energy conservation and emission reduction work is urgent.With the great attention and firm leadership of the party and the state,the development of carbon economy and carbon finance has begun to take effect.Only green waters and green mountains are the golden and silver mountains.As the mainstay of the financial system,commercial banks should strive to be the vanguard in exploring carbon finance business.In the process of research,this paper uses the methods of literature,theoretical analysis and SWOT analysis,compares the relevant situation of foreign countries,selects 12 representative national joint-stock banks in China as the target,analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of China’s commercial banks in the development of carbon finance,and gives corresponding opinions and suggestions on this basis.From the perspective of paper structure,this paper first introduces the carbon finance knowledge involved,then compares the actual situation of carbon finance development at home and abroad;third,using SWOT analysis method,analyzes the internal and external conditions for banks to carry out carbon finance business,and finally gives targeted suggestions.
