| China is a major producer and consumer of coal,coal takes up more than 60%of China’s energy composition.Statistics show that coal fired pollutants account for 70%of the amount of dust emitted into the atmosphere and more than 90%of SO2emissions.The burning of coal in rural areas in particular has caused serious environmental pollution.As an important clean coal technology,coal briquette can effectively alleviate the problem of air pollution caused by coal burning.The coal briquette binder is the main factor affecting the performance and cost of coal briquette,the development of an excellent briquette binder has become the key to the development of coal briquette technology.The coal briquette products are usually dried,but the drying equipment has some drawbacks such as high cost and energy consumption.In order to optimize the coal briquette production line and reduce the cost of coal briquette production,the study of non-drying coal briquette has become an important research direction in the development of China’s coal briquette technology.Compared with traditional coal briquette,the non-drying coal briquette has higher wet strength,which can simplify the coal briquette production line and the production process,and enhance the economic benefits of the relative industry.However,there are few pieces of researches on the performance and mechanism of non-drying coal briquette,and scarcity of associate references and quality standards.In this paper,different binders are used to prepare non-drying coal briquette.Research shows that the xanthan gum-based coal briquette binder formulation is xanthan gum 1.0%,sucrose 0.6%,and sodium bentonite 3%.The formula of polyvinyl alcohol-based coal briquette binder is 1.5%polyvinyl alcohol and 3%quick-drying cement.The wet strengths of the two coal briquettes are substantially improved compared with traditional coal briquette.The strength of xanthan gum-based coal briquette can reach 130 N/a under natural drying conditions within 24hours,and the strength of polyvinyl alcohol-based coal briquette can reach 300 N/a.When the coal particle size ratio is R1:R2:R3=1:1:2,the compressive strength of the coal briquette can reach 36 N/a;The combustion characteristics and pollutant emission characteristics of coal briquette have been studied.Compared with raw coal,the combustion characteristics of non-drying coal briquette,such as the ignition temperature and the maximum burnout rate corresponding temperature,have been improved compared with raw coal;Compared with raw coal,the SO2emissions of xanthan gum-based coal briquette and polyvinyl alcohol-based coal briquette have been reduced by 64.64%and 74.61%,respectively.The two non-drying coal briquettes have significant sulfur fixation effects;The production line of non-drying coal briquette with an annual output of 50,000 tons is designed in the paper.The raw coal is classified,crushed,screened,and mixed with binders for full reaction,which is beneficial to forming and strength improving coal briquette products.The 2PLF series of grading crushers,equal-distance semi-helical double-shaft mixers and pair-roll forming machines are selected as the coal briquette production equipment. |
