In recent years,oil and other liquid fuels is continueing to grow in most of the time,and oil prices has remained firm.China and India accounted for half of the increasement in global energy demand.Diesel is an important component of the petroleum industry,and diesel consumption has increased significantly as a result of the increase in motor vehicle occupancy and transportation demand.However,the global energy is gradually transforming,the requirements for internal combustion engines are getting higher and higher,and the trend of clean and environmentally friendly oil products is also obvious.It is imperative to accelerate the upgrading of oil quality.Polymethoxy dimethyl ether(PODEn)is an environmentally friendly diesel additive.In this paper,by comparing with biodiesel,polymethoxy dimethyl ether was added to vehicle diesel to study the changes in physical and chemical properties and the impact of pollutant emissions.The paper had studied the effects of temperature and water content on mixed fuels(PODE mixed with autombile diesel fuels 0#V).The results showed that PODE can be well solved in diesel fuel when the temperature was higher than 20℃.However,as the temperature droped,fuels with high PODE content(P40,P60,P80)were prone to density stratification.In general,the stability of diesel was best when the PODE content did not exceed 20%.Due to the addition of water mixed fuel would be deposited directly to water,so the influence of moisture on the compatibility of the mixed fuel was small.This paper applied the experimental method of GB 19147-2016(autombile diesel fuels V)to research the physicochemical properties of PODE3-4 diesel blended fuel.The results showed that the density of PODE3-4 was higher than diesel.It was necessary to control the amount of PODE added according to the density of diesel.The addition of PODE3-4 to diesel fuel could improve the low temperature flow performance of diesel,reduce corrosion performance and increase the flash point of closure.Adding PODE3-4 to diesel could effectively improve the lubricating performance of diesel.Using diesel engine and diesel vehicle researched the effection of PODE on Pollutant Emissions from diesel engine.The results showed the addition of PODE3-4 to diesel fuel could significantly reduce the combustion emissions PM2.5 of diesel engines.It showed that PODE was an environmentally friendly diesel additive that could reduce the formation of diesel pollution emissions PM2.5.The addition of PODE3-4 to diesel fuel could make the diesel engine start better and the diesel engine noise could be significantly reduced.When added in an amount of 5%PODE3-4 fuel diesel fuel could significantly.But there was not much optimization for the power,and there was no abnormality compared with before the addition.
