Yellow water is a by-product of white liquor.It has a large amount of emissions.Most of them are discharged into the sewage treatment plant to meet the standards,which not only causes high cost,but also leads to serious waste of resources.There is no report about the application of yellow water in agriculture.Therefore,the research on the application of yellow water in vegetable and grain crops cultivation,was carried out.Spinach,Brassica Chinensis L,Chrysanthemum Coronarium L.and Soybean,Sorghum,Maize were selected as the research objects.Through pot and small-scale field experiments,the effects of yellow water on crop growth,yield,quality and soil nutrients were studied,and the effects of yellow water on crop growth,yield and quality were studied.The main conclusions are as follows:1.Application of yellow water alone can promote the growth of crops,increase the yield of crops,improve the quality of crops,with good results.Compared with the CK group,the plant heights of spinach,green cabbage,Chrysanthemum chrysanthemum,soybean,sorghum,and corn increased by 7.89%~38.49%,1.96%~29.70%,12.31~94.82%,22.64%~32.04%,2.25%~9.05%,0.66%~36.07%after applying yellow water.2.If the concentration of yellow water is too low or too high,it will be harmful to the growth of crops.The concentration is too low,it will not be enough nutrition and the concentration is too high,it will inhibit the growth of crops.The best concentration of yellow water is 20 times dilution.3.After being compounded,yellow water can better promote the growth of crops,increase the yield of crops,and improve the quality of crops compared to singly application.When compounded with YW20,the vitamin C,soluble protein,and soluble sugar of six crops were increased by 5.83%~27.74%,18.60%~149.02%,1.40%~43.39%,respectively,compared with the single application of yellow water YW20.4.After yellow water application,the contents of organic matter,total nitrogen,total phosphorus and total potassium increased by 1.92%~4.32%,44.60%~229.06%,33.21%~145.28%,6.51%~13.66%.In summary,yellow water can obviously promote the growth of crops,increase yield and quality,and improve the yield and quality of crops.It is a good way to utilize yellow water as resource.
