Research On The Application Of Plant Information-based Design In Clothing

Information is the basic component of all things in the universe.Plants are one of the units that create nature,so plants themselves are information.Plants are made up of different tissues and organs,so the information of plants is made up of more specific and small information.The plant information studied in this paper refers to the visual information under the hierarchical structure of the plant itself and the functional information under some of its structural characteristics.At present,the research on plant information in other fields mostly appears in botany,medicine and other fields.In the field of art,the research on plant information mostly appears in the fields of architecture,textile,product design and so on.The application of plant information in clothing design has always been inclined to the application of visual information that can be observed by human naked eyes,such as plant contour,color,texture,etc.,and has achieved undeniable results.The design of functional information of plant attributes is seldom seen.This research is not to classify the plant information,but to study from the visual information and invisible functional information of the plant.One is to sum up the application of the morphological information of the visual outline,color and texture of plants in dress design.The other is to explore the possibility of the application of the invisible functional information which can not be observed with the naked eye in the field of dress design.According to the above-mentioned "visible" morphological information and "invisible" functional information,the study of dress design is carried out.In addition to elaborating the aesthetic expression of plant information design in dress design,a new design method different from the previous one is put forward,and the experimental design in the study is promoted to complete the design application of plant information design in dress.This topic is an attempt to study new ways and new thinking of costume design from the perspective of plant information.In the design section,the common characteristics of dicotyledons are analyzed,and the common characteristics and typical cases(such as Ilex macrophylla of Ilex family,Morning Glory of Convolvulaceae,Paeonia lactiflora in Paeoniaceae and other dicotyledons)are explored.The design scheme is proposed,which integrates cross-domain related knowledge with design,and creates works with aesthetic and functional values.In the process of research and practice,it happened that the new coronavirus came,which affected the research process and content of the project.I hope the epidemic situation will end as soon as possible,and when the spring is warm and blooming,the motherland will be better and better.
