| Clothing is the concrete embodiment of material culture and spiritual culture,which has a symbolic significance in Chinese culture.Chinese costume culture has a long history,rich and colorful content and its historical development mainly experienced the initial formation of the pre Qin,Qin and Han Dynasties;The integration and perfection of the Wei Jin,Sui and Tang Dynasties;the mutual exchange of the song,Liao,Jin and Yuan Dynasties;The prosperity and secularity of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.In the historical development of Chinese costume culture,Han culture and minority culture have been integrated.During this period,the costume culture has been impacted by western culture,and it still maintains its own inherent characteristics.Beizi is a representative dress in Chinese traditional dress.Because of its practicability and aesthetics,it existed in many dynasties in ancient China and had an impact on modern dress design.The evolution process of Beizi reflects the development and improvement of living materials,as well as the change of social culture and political concepts.The characteristics of the development of Beizi reflect the hierarchy,inheritance,integration,nationality and innovation in the development of Chinese costume history,and also reflect the cultural connotation of Chinese traditional costume.In recent years,more and more attention has been paid to the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional clothing culture.Scholars at home and abroad have been constantly engaged in the research of Chinese traditional clothing culture.The elements of Chinese traditional clothing are widely used in clothing design.Its form,color,pattern and craft reflect the material background of the upper class and the citizen class,as well as the aesthetic consciousness of the rulers and the pursuit of beauty of the working people.How to apply this excellent traditional clothing culture to modern women ’s clothing design and enrich the social and cultural life of the public is the focus of this paper.In this paper,by consulting books,investigating museums and taking pictures,and by means of multimedia information such as the Internet,a large number of materials such as characters and pictures of Beizi are collected,and these materials are classified and integrated in detail.This paper mainly studies from the following parts: Firstly,it summarizes the research results of Beizi at home and abroad,and finds the breakthrough point for innovative research.Secondly,it systematically combs the historical evolution and development characteristics of Beizi.Thirdly,it analyzes the aesthetic characteristics of the shape,color,pattern and craft of Beizi.Fourthly,on the basis of analysis and research,we extract,transform and redesign the elements of Beizi,and apply it to the modern women’s clothing design works in combination with the popular trend,to show the intellectual competence and gentleness elegance of modern women in social life,and to show the dual functions of practicality and aesthetics of clothing.The application of Chinese traditional costume culture to modern costume is one of the effective ways to enrich costume culture and bring forth new ideas. |
