| In this paper,Cu2O supported on MoS2、MWCNTs and MoS2-MWCNTs carriers have been performed to study the synergetic effect of MoS2 and MWCNTs on the physical-chemistry properties of Cu2O catalyst and catalytic performance for the reduction of 4-NP by NaBH4.Their physical-chemistry properties were characterized by XRD,SEM,TEM and N2 adsorption-desorption techniques.The content of this paper is mainly divided into the following three parts:(1)Preparation of Cu2O/MoS2 catalysts and investigation of catalytic performance for the reduction of 4-NP by NaBH4.Both the preparation of MoS2 and following loading Cu2O on MoS2 were performed under hydrothermal conditions.The characterization data and catalytic tests showed that the particle size of Cu2 O decreased after being loaded on MoS2,and the improvement of reduction of 4-NP by NaBH4 were realized when the Cu2 O content relative MoS2 were in the range of 55% to 95%;(2)Preparation of Cu2O/MWCNTs catalysts and investigation of catalytic performance for the reduction of 4-NP by NaBH4.The characterization data and catalytic tests showed that the particle sizes of Cu2O increased after being loaded on MWCNTs due to the lack of any treatment to MWCNTs,however,the reduction of 4-NP by NaBH4 was enhanced over Cu2O/MWCNTs catalysts compared with bare Cu2O;(3)Preparation of Cu2O/MoS2-MWCNTs catalysts and investigation of catalytic performance for the reduction of 4-NP by NaBH4.Both the preparation of MoS2-MWCNTs and following loading Cu2O were performed under hydrothermal conditions.The characterization data and catalytic tests showed that the particle size of Cu2 O in Cu2O/MoS2-MWCNTs decreased a lot compared with that of Cu2 O on MoS2 or MWCNTs,and excellent catalytic performance toward the reduction of 4-NP by NaBH4 was noticed over Cu2O/MoS2-MWCNTs compared with Cu2O/MoS2 and Cu2O/MWCNTs,which suggest a better synergetic effect between MoS2 and MCWNTs on the formation of Cu2O and its catalytic performance for the reduction of 4-NP by NaBH4. |
