| In order to find out the environmental impact of the production process of the secondary battery plant, environmental quality investigation and ecological risk assessment and human health risk assessment of the corresponding production sites are required. This study selected the secondary battery manufacturing plant in the Yangtze River Delta as a research object,a detailed analysis of the situation of soil heavy metal pollution in the region, reflects the necessity of the study. In the field of soil sampling, the soil samples of four workshops in three secondary battery production sites in Nantong,Qidong and Zhejiang were selected as the research objects and named as sites A,N1,N2 and Z,respectively. The XRF method was used to analyze the content of heavy metals in soil.In this study,we chose the land accumulation index and the potential ecological risk index method for ecological risk assessment. We selected the establishment of soil heavy metal exposure model and human health risk characterization model to assess whether the cell factory workers are facing carcinogenic risk and non-carcinogenic risk, using Monte Carlo simulation method for uncertainty analysis. Finally, the system of evaluation method established by this research institute is designed to design software of risk assessment platform for ecological risks and human health of secondary battery factory to promote the use of secondary battery manufacturing sites and battery factory staff. The results show that in the ecological risk assessment, there exist some ecological risks in the four secondary battery production sites in the Yangtze River Delta.Among the sites,Site A has the highest ecological risk, and there is a strong ecological risk. There is a strong ecological risk in Site N1,while the pollution in Site Z is less than that of Site A and N1,but there is also a strong ecological risk.N2 site has the lowest risk, cleaner than other sites. The reason can be seen that the four sites of Cd pollution are more serious, especially A site,we must pay attention. In addition,Co site N1 pollution is also more serious, but also due to attention. In terms of human health risks, there is no carcinogenic risk to workers in all four production sites because the values of these heavy metals in the soils are below the safe level threshold(1×10-6);for sites N1,A,Z Employees do not have a non-carcinogenic risk. However, the non-carcinogenic risk assessment of site N2 reached 6.94,which is much higher than the threshold(defined as 1.0).This means that employees in site N2 are faced with serious risks.According to the data,Co pollution is particularly serious. It can be assumed that the production of cobalt sulfate or lithium cobalt oxide batteries at the N2 site exposes employees to greater risks and requires more relevant protections from business owners and employees. |
