| Nanofiltration(NF)has been a key technology of water treatment and desalination due to the low cost and high efficiency.Graphene oxide(GO)has become a hotspot of membrane material in recent years.In the process of developing new membrane materials,molybdenum disulfide(Mo S2),with graphene-like structure and low cost,has become an emerging material used in membrane fabrication due to its excellent physical and chemical properties and unique structure characteristics.Inspired by biomimetic adhesion from mussel,polydopamine(PDA)has been used in membrane surface modification to improve hydrophilicity.In this work,we have prepared three kinds of Mo S2 nanofiltration membranes(NFMs)via three different modification methods involving PDA.Afterwards,the key properties of these Mo S2 NFMs were tested under different preparation conditions.The main contents are as follows:PDA-modified layer-stacked Mo S2 NFMs(PDA/Mo S2 NFMs)were fabricated via a pressure-assisted self-assembly of Mo S2 nanosheets on the hydrolyzed polyacrylonitrile(HPAN)membrane.The separation property of PDA/Mo S2 NFMs,with various Mo S2loadings at different dopamine polymerization times,was evaluated.The pure water permeance of PDA/Mo S2 NFMs,with 0.11 mg/cm2 of Mo S2 loading at 4 h modification,could reach 135.3 LMH/bar.And the rejection towards methylene blue could reach 100%.Furthermore,this as-prepared membrane also showed a high rejection towards other dye molecules,and a high permeability to salts.Mo S2@PDA NFMs were fabricated through pressure-assisted assembly of Mo S2@PDA,Mo S2 nanosheets modified by PDA,loading on the HPAN membrane.The separation property of Mo S2@PDA NFMs under various fabrication conditions was evaluated.The pure water permeance of Mo S2@PDA NFMs,with Mo S2 loading of 0.11 mg/cm2 at 5 h modification,could reach 204.05 LMH/bar.And the rejection towards methylene blue could reach 99%.The pure water permeance was about 52%higher than that of PDA/Mo S2 NFMs.In addition,Mo S2@PDA NFMs also showed a good antifouling property towards bovine serum albumin(BSA),high rejection towards other dye molecules and high permeability to salts.PSBMA-PDA/Mo S2 NFMs were fabricated via a pressure-assisted self-assembly of Mo S2 nanosheets on HPAN membrane followed by co-deposition of PDA and poly(sulfobetaine methacrylate)(PSBMA,a zwitterionic polymer).The effects of PDA and PSBMA co-deposition time and their ratio on the separation performance of PSBMA-PDA/Mo S2 NFMs with fixed Mo S2 loading were studied.The pure water permeance of PSBMA-PDA/Mo S2 NFMs,with 1:20 of PDA and PSBMA under 4 h polymerization,could reach 262.06 LMH/bar,which was 1.9 times that of PDA/Mo S2 NFMs.The membrane also showed good antifouling performance against mucopolysaccharide pollutants,such as hyaluronic acid and sodium alginate.Similarly,the as-prepared membrane showed a high rejection towards other dye molecules and a high permeability of salts.In addition,the PSBMA-PDA/Mo S2 NFMs also possessed nearly 100%bacteriostatic efficiency on E.coli. |
