Uranium is rich in reserves and is an important resource for the sustainable development of mankind in the future. With thein-depth understanding of the unique electronic structure and properties of uranium, the resource utilization of uranium and its potential applications have also received extensive attention from scientists. This article takes uranyl as the research object and studies its application as a catalyst in organic synthesis. From the selectivity, universality and conversion rate of uranyl catalyzed organic reactions, the catalytic performance of uranyl as a catalyst was evaluated. And its catalytic mechanism has been systematically studied. The main research content and results of this article are as follows:1)Uranyl cations have good photocatalytic activity but have not been effectively developed. Its excited state has high oxidation ability([UO2]2+*(+2.6 V vs.SHE;SHE=standard hydrogen electrode),and the excitation light source is blue light(hv=380-500 nm).The excited state fluorescence lifetime is Picosecond is an ideal photocatalyst for visible light-driven organic synthesis reactions. In this paper, uranyl nitrate is used as a photocatalyst to activate C(sp3)-H through hydrogen atom transfer to form a new C-C.A simple new method for the synthesis of diarylmethane compounds was constructed.DFT calculation and EPR detection are used to verify that the reaction mechanism is the light-induced HAT pathway.2)The 1,6-addition reaction of p-quinone methides(p-QMs)was realized through Lewis acid catalysis with uranyl ion as the catalyst. The method has simple operation and mild conditions, good functional group tolerance, high selectivity and high yield, and various diarylmethane compounds with different substituents have been synthesized.3)Using silane as the reducing agent, through the UO2(NO32·6H2O/Et3Si H system,an efficient and simple hydrosilylation reaction of p-quinone methide(p-QMs)was developed. It provides a simple method for the construction of diarylmethane derivatives;this method has high selectivity and high yield.
