The Impact And Path Of Environmental Protection R&D Investment On Corporate Environmental Performance

On April 16,2015,the State Council issued the "Action Plan for Prevention and Control of Water Pollution" with ten items,referred to as "Ten Regulations of Water".The Plan proposes that by 2020,black and odorous water bodies in urban built-up areas at prefecture level and above will be controlled within 10% and by 2030,black and odorous water bodies in urban built-up areas will be eliminated as a whole,so water pollution control are and will be effectively supported by national policies.With the implementation of national laws,regulations and industrial policies,the requirements of various regions on the water quality of local waters have gradually been strengthened,so the amount and scale of silt treatment in rivers and lakes has expanded rapidly.In the process of environmental treatment,a large amount of river and lake sediment dredging mud can not be realized by using traditional technology.Enterprises should rely on technological innovation to bring rapid development in the vast space of the environmental protection industry.The amount of Road Environment’s environmental protection R&D investment is increasing year by year,and environmental performance is improving year by year,which promotes the deep integration and coordination of economic benefits,social benefits and environmental benefits.In view of this,this article takes Road Environmental Corporation as the research object to study the impact of environmental R&D investment on environmental performance,and further analyzes the realization path of the impact of environmental R&D investment on environmental performance.The research finds:(1)the environmental R&D investment behavior of enterprises can help improve the company’s environmental performance;(2)patent rights and non-patent technologies play an intermediary role in the improvement of environmental performance by Road’s environmental protection R&D investment.Relevant suggestions are put forward through research:(1)enterprises should increase R&D investment and form a core technology system;(2)enterprises should make full use of patent rights and non-patent technologies to improve the company’s environmental performance evaluation indicators.Studying the environmental R&D investment of Road Environmental Corporation has practical significance for the environmental R&D investment of China environmental treatment industry and heavy-polluting enterprises.On the one hand,it enriches the relevant case studies on the impact of environmental R&D investment on environmental performance,and explores the path of the impact of corporate environmental R&D investment on environmental performance;on the other hand,it can help the government to formulate green development policies,regulations and systems,and also provide reference for other environmental governance companies and heavy-polluting companies to effectively improve their environmental performance.
