| Condensable particulate matter(CPM)is the gaseous before discharge, and formed the solid or liquid particles after discharge by atmospheric dilution and condensation.CPM and filterable particulate matter constitute the total particulate matter.Recent years, traditional pollution has been controlled so that CPM which is significantly complex has been paied attention to.Recently, the researches concerning CPM have been focused on the emission characteristic of CPM.Although the obvious traces of mercury(Hg)have been found in CPM by these researches, the characteristic of Hg in CPM has not been studied. Therefore, the characteristic of Hg in CPM has been studied. In addition, the adsorption effects of CPM and Hg by activated carbon(AC)have been also studied based on the characteristic of Hg in CPM and CPM is the gaseous before discharge. The research results are following:In the studying of the characteristic of Hg in CPM,the results showed that the content of Hg in CPM is proportional to the content in coal. The content of Hg in CPM in 90℃ flue gas is the highest, which is 0.09μg/Nm3 when the coal(Jinjie bituminous coal)with the highest content of Hg is burning. In addition, the content of Hg collected by CPM sampling unit increases with the increase of flue gas temperature, which corresponds to the emission characteristic of CPM.After calculation, the proportion of Hg in CPM at the highest flue gas temperature(170℃)to the.total Hg is the highest, however, the proportion is less than 1%.In the studying of adsorption of CPM by AC,the results showed that the removal efficiency range of CPM at 90℃ by AC could reach 19%-22%.The removal efficiency of the inorganic fraction was higher than that of the organic fraction.AC had prominent adsorption effects on extremely toxic aromatic compounds in CPM.AC had obvious adsorption effects on Cl-,NH4+,and Hg in CPM but had a marginal adsorption effect on SO42+,NO3-,and other metal elements in CPM.Therein, the adsorption efficiency of Hg in CPM can reach up to 99%by AC and the adsorption effect can decrease with the increase of the pore size of AC.At a flue gas temperature of 35-170℃,the efficiency of CPM removal through AC adsorption could increase with decreasing flue gas temperature, and this effect was more obvious during the adsorption of inorganic fractions. In addition, the efficiency of CPM removal through condensation and adsorption could reach up to 51%at 35℃ when flue gas at 130℃ was used as the initial flue gas. |
