| Riparian natural habitat is the key element of river function and the environment on which all kinds of living things depend.Without proper management and protection measures,the riparian habitats will lose their internal stability and the functions of riparian zones will gradually deteriorate,and even the ecosystems of rivers and riparian zones will lose their balance.The Liao River is one of the most important river in Liaoning province,by controlling the "twelfth five-year" Liao River reserve river comprehensive repair technology,natural cultivating technology,the implementation of riparian zone ecological restoration technology,the basin ecological environment has improved significantly,however,due to the influence of geographical features,man-made,natural and other factors,in the process of natural habitats and recovers the appearance of many new problems or influencing factors,hinder the riparian zone of natural habitat for benign recovery.Therefore,in order to clear the Liao River reserve riparian zone state of natural habitat restoration and hinder the riparian zone of natural habitat restoration process of the key factors,in this paper,by constructing riparian zone of banks of the river natural habitat evaluation index system,with the natural habitat for on-site survey,and using the comprehensive index method in Liao River reserve banks take to evaluate natural habitat status and historical status.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)At present,there are still some problems in Liao River Conservation area,such as bank slope instability,soil erosion,non-point source pollution and alien species invasion.The habitat function and land use structure of the riparian zone that still need to be further improved,comprehensive consideration the regional,natural,man-made and other factors,based on the characteristics of riparian zone itself,an evaluation index system of riparian zone natural habitat restoration in Liao River Conservation area was constructed,which included 6 stability function indexes,14 buffer function indexes,4 service function indexes and 5 biodiversity indexes.The evaluation criteria for the restoration of natural habitat in riparian zone of Liao River Conservation area were determined,and the weight coefficientof each evaluation index is determined by the analytic hierarchy process.(2)To study the Liao River reserve banks with 23 sampling points of river water quality,soil environmental quality,soil enzyme activity and the status of riparian zone protection,degree of human disturbance and plant and microbial diversity of field investigation,it is concluded that the river water quality and soil environmental quality in Liao River Reserve are in good condition at present,part of the river bank is seriously scoured by rain and its stability needs to be improved.The biodiversity of riparian zone was obviously improved compared with that before the closure,but in recent years,the increase of grazing in Liao River reserve resulted in the change of soil structure of riparian zone,and the restoration process of biodiversity was hindered.(3)This paper evaluated the restoration status and historical status of natural habitats in riparian zone of Liao River Conservation area by using the comprehensive index method.The results showed that the restoration status of natural habitat in riparian zone of Liao River Conservation area was 21.74% in excellent condition,17.39% in good condition,26.09% in general condition,17.39% in poor condition and 17.39% in poor condition.Compared with the results of historical evaluation,82.61% of riparian natural habitats have been improved,only 17.39% of riparian natural habitats remain intact,and the natural habitats of riparian natural habitats are not degraded.At present,the natural habitat of riparian zone in Liao River Conservation area presents a state of restoration.(4)Through correlation analysis,it was determined that the key factors affecting the restoration of natural habitat in riparian zone of Liao River protection zone were bank slope type,bed stability,patch fragmentation index,total phosphorus in water body,river curvature,wetland retention rate,influence of human activities,grazing and vegetation coverage.Liao River reserve more severe and grazing area of human activity disturbance,part of the riparian zone exists serious exotic plant invasion,these factors have led Liao River reserve riparian zone soil structure change,the inefficiency of restoration of biodiversity,and block the Liao River reserve banks with natural habitat restoration process.Based on this,it is suggested to strengthen the sealing management of Liao River Reserve,reduce human activities and grazing by surrounding residents,in order to speed up the restoration process of natural habitat of Liao River Reserve and improve the ecological function of riparian zone of Liao River Reserve. |
