| The treatment of black and odorous water in China has entered a critical period.In this paper,the biological aerated filter and quartz sand filtration are combined in the same reactor,and the BAF/quartz sand filtration integrated equipment is developed for the circulation treatment or side station treatment of black and smelly water bodies.This paper explores the start of the reactor’s hanging film,using actual domestic sewage and simulated black and odorous water as the inlet water quality,and investigated the operating parameters,decontamination performance and pollutant removal effect of the reactor under different inlet water quality conditions,Established the kinetic model of each pollutant removal,and verified the application effect of BAF/quartz sand filtration integrated equipment in the treatment of black and odorous water in Wangjiahe,Yueyang City.The BAF/quartz sand filter hanging film test showed that the natural hanging film method was used to hang the film for 22 days,and the removal rates of COD and NH3-N were stable at 75%and 80%,respectively,marking the success of the film hanging system.This experiment investigated the effects of air-water ratio,hydraulic load,and different water quality conditions on the pollutant removal effect of BAF/quartz sand filter integrated equipment.The results show that the optimal air-water ratio and hydraulic load when treating domestic sewage are 1:1 and 1.28 m3/(m2/h).Under these conditions,the average removal rates of the reactor for COD,NH3-N,total nitrogen,and turbidity are 72.78%,53%,50.26%,and 93%,respectively.The optimal gas-water ratio and hydraulic load of simulated black and odorous water are 0.5:1 and 2.56 m3/(m2/h)respectively.Under this condition,the average removal of COD,NH3-N,total nitrogen and turbidity by the reactor The rates were 65.09%,75.70%,89.42%,and 50.84%.Comparing the two water qualities with the same hydraulic load and its optimal air-to-water ratio,it can be seen that the hydraulic load increases from0.64 m3/(m2/h)to 2.56 m3/(m2/h).The backwash cycle of black and odorous water and domestic sewage is gradually shortened,but the backwash cycle of treating black and odorous water is longer than that of domestic sewage by 6,5,3 and 1 day respectively.According to the analysis of the decontamination test along the reactor,in the aerated biological filter section,the COD and ammonia nitrogen concentrations were significantly reduced,and in the quartz sand filter section,the ammonia nitrogen concentration was basically unchanged,and the COD and total nitrogen concentrations were slightly reduced.The turbidity basically showed a uniform downward trend.Circulating water treatment system of black smelly water body in Wangjiahe of Yueyang City.The average removal rate of COD,NH3-N,total nitrogen,and turbidity by the BAF/quartz sand filter integrated equipment were 80%,92%,42%,and 94%,respectively,and the redox potential increased from 15 to 34 mv to 63~101mv. |
