| Vinyl toluene is a new environmental protection material which can replace styrene.It’s often used to prepare resin,plastic,rubber and paint.It can improve the performance of resin.Vinyl toluene is widely used in resin coatings,composite materials,and vinyl toluene resin.At present,vinyl toluene is synthesized by catalytic dehydrogenation.With toluene and ethanol as raw materials,vinyl toluene products are produced through alkylation reaction,dehydrogenation and distillation using the Fe-K-Ce system catalyst.However,this method has some problems,such as high energy consumption,high reaction temperature and low conversion rate.As a catalyst,organometallic complexes have high reaction activity,mild reaction conditions and can be controlled by changing the reaction temperature and the other experimental conditions.In this paper,the preparation,characterization and performance tests of catalysts for oxidation dehydrogenation of metal complexes in carbon dioxide atmosphere were discussed.In this paper,13 kinds of organometallic complexes were synthesized.These catalysts were selected to analyze the reaction efficiency of oxidation dehydrogenation,and the catalyst with the best catalytic effect was selected by comparing the reaction efficiency.It is used to solve the problems of low activity,poor selectivity and low compressive strength of traditional catalysts,and to improve the conversion rate of methyl ethyl benzene.The prepared catalyst is applied to the catalysis.Through the orthogonal test and single factor method,the reaction temperature,catalyst dosage,molar ratio on the reaction efficiency were discussed for optimizing and determining the reaction conditions.The reactor for dehydrogenation and the quencher of vinyl toluene was studied.The reactor is a spiral structure with multiple stages in series.At the same time,the internal structure of the quencher was modified to avoid the small hole clogging and reduce the side reaction.As a substitute of styrene,the low toxicity of vinyl toluene determines the broad development prospects in the future.However,the industrial production of vinyl toluene still faced with huge technical problems and equipment defects,which is also the direct reason of limited vinyl toluene manufacturer and scarce output.In this study,a safe,efficient and environmentally friendly organometallic complex was developed as a catalyst for oxidation dehydrogenation reaction to solve the problems in the existing technology.It can improve the key technology in the industrial production of vinyl toluene and the reaction conversion rate.With the increasing attention of environmental protection,the process of replacing styrene with vinyl toluene will be accelerated. |
