The issue of environmental protection has become a global hot topic.In the face of increasingly severe environmental pollution,human beings are constantly exploring solutions.The research purpose of this article is also to seek an effective environmental management and protection model.When the economic level has reached a certain stage,the lack of material means of living is no longer the main contradiction that threatens human survival,and people have begun to focus on a high-quality living environment.Environmental auditing is a new means of protecting the environment that has emerged in recent years.Western developed countries are the first to use environmental auditing methods.China is also learning from and exploring.Foreign government environmental and audit departments not only conduct environmental audits themselves,but also commission environmental audits by entrusting independent third-party agencies.This model of government purchasing third-party environmental audits is worthy of reference and use in China.Environmental audit is not only different from traditional audit,but also fully draws on the advantages and advantages of traditional audit.Based on the traditional audit,the new audit thinking mode is used to achieve the purpose of environmental protection.Environmental audit relies on the independent supervision status of the audit department and the evaluation system to participate in the whole process of environmental protection and governance.Many countries have formulated laws and regulations related to environmental audit,including environmental audit codes of conduct and specific operating procedures,and established corresponding environments.The audit department has trained full-time environmental auditors.China’s current environmental auditing work is at an initial stage of development.There is a resource environmental protection auditing agency in the National Audit Office and a corresponding department in the local auditing agency.However,compared withwestern developed countries,there is still a considerable gap.The author reads a large number of domestic and foreign literature and analyzes related environmental data.This article focuses on the legal issues in the government’s purchase of third-party environmental audit services and proposes corresponding improvements to promote the government’s purchase of third-party environmental audit services Further develop and make corresponding contributions to environmental protection.Through in-depth consideration of legal issues in the government’s purchase of third-party environmental audit services,it proposes legal risks and how to prevent them during the government’s purchase of third-party environmental audit services.Based on the analysis of related cases,based on the latest data,combined with regional characteristics and China’s national conditions,debate and analysis,and comparative research to propose relatively relevant strategies are the research directions of this article.
