Along with the fast socioeconomic development in recent decades,situated in the arid region the urban environment and water pollution have become an urgent problem for settlemnt in Xinjiang.In general,the wastewater treatment plants established in the middle and small sized cities in Xinjiang are resposible for the treatment of both domestic sewage and partial industrial wastewater.Especially in northern Xinjiang,where the annual temparature changes are great,hot summer and cold winter,with less biodegradable wastewater been mixed with domestic wastewate,how to optimize the control parameters based on the analysis on the operation effecacy of existing facilities,is of very theoretical and practical significance.By doing these not only the efficiency and effecacy of wastewater treatment could be improved,but also the improvement of operational stability of the system against shock load and drastic temwperature changes,for providing basis of resue of treated wastewater as the treasure resources in the arid region.This research introduces the engineering and operation of the sewage treatment plant in the context of small and medium-sized sewage treatment plants in three counties and cities in northern Xinjiang.For example,the second sewage treatment plant in Changji Drainage in Changji uses a secondary biochemical oxidation ditch process.The improved oxidation ditch process of the water company of Zhundong Oil Production Plant of Xinjiang Oilfield Company in Fukang City is located in the Qitai County Wastewater Treatment Plant in Qitai County,using the Carrousel Oxidation Ditch,etc.,because the water quality data of the three sewage treatment plants are similar.Therefore,choose one of the representative sewage treatment plants.Firstly,a detailed analysis of the actual operation status and operation data of the sewage treatment plant is carried out.On this basis,the possible factors that may affect the treatment efficiency and effect of the sewage treatment process are analyzed,and the existing sewage treatment plant is analyzed.Process performance is fully evaluated.Furthermore,according to the analysis and evaluation of the operational data in the previous step,an improved method is proposed for the existing process,and the parameters are optimized and adjusted,and the purpose is to optimize the various indexes and operating states of the sewage treatment.Finally,the ASM2D model(activated sludge mathematical model)is used to further adjust the control parameters of the sewage treatment plant,and the simulation parameter model that is more applicable and true to the actual conditions is established according to various indicators to optimize the existing control parameters.Based on the simulation parameter model simulation parameter data,this research clarifies the effect of process parameters adjustment,so that the research results can be widely applied and popularized in the field of sewage treatment,and for the goal of reducing the cost,incresing the treatment effecacy and operational stability of urban sewage treatment plants could be achieved.
