In this article Henkel AP R&D center strategic transformation case has been studied.In view of the project output efficiency decrease problem in the Henkel AP R&D,a strategy transformation proposal and reform measures are proposed.In the article an analysis is given on how the resource allocation of strategic R&D projects and the organization structure optimized.How the project output and efficiency enhanced.And how the breakthrough technology development project risk minimized.Through various measures including IVD(innovation value driver)and matrix project organization set up.Conduction of project reform in terms of project manager,process and tools.Strengthen and standardize supplier innovation and cooperation.Scientific career ladder set up.Lessons and recommendation will be drawn from the case study for strategy and project management reform of R&D department especially focus on breakthrough technology.
