Vanadium based catalysts have excellent catalytic performance and are widely applied in chemical industry.As a green and environmentally friendly oxidant,hydrogen peroxide is attracting more attention.Catalytic oxidation of anethole to anisaldehyde by H2O2in the presence of vanadium based catalysts and phase transfer catalyst has been investigated in the present dissertation.To develop a new process for synthesis of anisaldehyde,the influence of the dosage of catalysts,phase transfer catalyst and H2O2and the effect of temperature and reaction time on the conversion rate of anethole and the yields of anisaldehyde has been studied.The main contents includes:1.With Ferric vanadate(FeVO4)as the oxidation catalyst,the optimal experimental conditions for catalytic oxidation of anethole were:0.4g(2.7mmol)anethole、1.5m L 30%H2O2,0.0040g catalyst FeVO4,15.00m L acetone was reacted at 40℃for 5h.The conversion of anethole was 94.31%~96.62%,the main product was anisaldehyde(anisic aldehyde)with the yield of 54.77%~55.68%.2.In the presence of vanadium pentoxide(V2O5)and hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(CTMAB),anethole can be effectively oxidized to anisaldehyde.The optimal reaction conditions were:5.00m L(5.0047g)anethole,9.00m L 30%H2O2,0.0500g V2O5and 0.0500g CTMAB react at 35℃for 0.5h.The conversion of anethole was 95%~96%,the main product was anisaldehyde(anisic aldehyde)with the yield of 63.70%.3、With sodium metavanadate(Na VO3)as catalyst and hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(CTMAB)as phase transfer catalyst,the optimal reaction conditions for catalytic oxidation of anethole were found as:5.00m L(5.0047g)anethole,9.00m L 30%H2O2,0.0600g catalyst Na VO3,0.0500g phase transfer catalysis(CTMAB),0.06m L 1:1Hydrochloric acid solution,reaction temperature 35℃,reaction time 0.5h.The conversion of anethole was 97.33%,the main product was anisaldehyde(anisic aldehyde)with the yield of 55.74%.Recycle of catalyst and phase transfer catalysis has been studied.
