Academic circle gradually pay more attention on the impact of Confucian value on business operation and management.However,as for the impact of Confucian value on firm innovation,academic circle,on one hand,has few relative researches;on the other hand,exists obvious different views on the relationship between Confucian value and corporate innovation.So in order to make the relationship of two concepts clearer,choosing the neo-Confucian and their corporate as our object of research and China Salt Jintan Co.,Ltd as our case study,we make further clarification based on the principles of Confucian ethics and perspectives of moral identity and ethical leadership.On one hand,the theoretical contribution exists in the methodology of contextualization,which is expected to reveal the authentic influence of Confucian value on firm innovation.The clarification of the principles of Confucian ethics helps us define the content and dimensions of Confucian value and Confucian leadership.What’s more,with the clue of organization behaviors(CSR)caused by neo-Conftucian values;we establish the mechanism of the two concepts.Thus this method conforms to Chinese leaders’management logic and thought impacted by Confucian value,which is also helpful for exploring the management behaviors with Chinese characters.This research primarily adopt the single case study of senior management interview in China Salt Jintan Co.Ltd,analyzing the effect of leaders’ Confucian value on their leadership and CSR activities to further explore the mechanism between Confucian value and firm innovation. |
