As a excellent material,carbon fiber(CF)has been applied in composite materials as reinforcement because of their high strength,modulus and wear resistance.The procreative CF has small specific surface area and weak chemical property,which leads to poor wettability between CF and resin.The low interfacial adhesion is not beneficial to play CF composite materials mechanical property.Therefore,it is necessary that modify the CF to improve the mechanical properties of composite materials.In this paper,ammininized graphene oxide(PEI-GO)was introduced on the surface by electrophoretic deposition to modify the CF.We can understand that PEI-GO was distributed homogeneously on the surface of acidified carbon fiber(CF-COOH)without agglomeration.Then,the oxygen-containing polar functional groups on the surface of CF-COOH was increased after the deposition.When PEI-GO was introduced into the surface of CF-COOH,surface energy was inproved,so the interfacial shear strength(IFSS)of the composite material was increased from 50.2 MPa to 79.16 MPa,which improving interfacial properties of the composite material.In this article,acrylic acid(AA)was used to modify CF by electropolymerization.The influence was studied by regulated the concentration of AA,and ascertained the best condition.We can know that some lumps acrylic polymer was filled in the longitudinal grooves on the surface of CF after the electropolymerization of acrylic acid.In this paper,ammininized carbon nanotube(CNT-NH2)was uilited to modify CF by electrophoretic deposition.After electrophoretic deposition,a large number of CNT-NH2 was uniformly distributed on the surface of CFCOOH,and form a dense network structure,which increased the surface roughness and amino groups of CF-COOH so that surface energy was enhanced.The result demonstrated that the IFSS of CF-COOH modified by CNT-NH2 was 64.19 MPa,compared with desized CF,which was increased by 27.8%.In this article,CNT-NH2 was uilited to modify CF-AA by electrophoretic deposition.Acrylic polymer increased the active sites on the surface of CF,and CNT-NH2 was easier to deposit on the surface of CF-AA,thereby the interfacial properties of the CF composite was inproved.
