Cotton fabrics are closely related to our lives.Cotton fabrics have the advantages of comfort,warmth and breathability.However,with the advancement of technology and the improvement of living standards,people hope that fabrics can provide better experience and protection,and the single function of current fabrics limits further use.On the other hand,with the substantial increase in clothing expenditure,the subsequent use of a large number of detergents and the waste of water resources have increased environmental pressure.And multi-functional fabrics can reduce environmental pressure while improving people's wearing experience.Photocatalyst technology is currently a popular pollutant removal technology.The photocatalyst is loaded on the fabric,which can effectively endow the fabric with various properties on the basis of retaining the original characteristics of the fabric.In this paper,by preparing WO3/CuBi2O4 composite catalyst and loading it on cotton fabric,the fabric has excellent UV protection ability,antibacterial ability and self-cleaning ability,and has good washing resistance and reuse ability.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)The WO3,CuBi2O4 and WO3/CuBi2O4 composite photocatalysts were prepared by hydrothermal method,respectively.According to various characterization methods and Rhodamine B degradation experiments,the WO3/CuBi2O4 Z-type heterojunction was successfully constructed.After 90 mins of simulated illumination,Rhodamine B solution can degrade 75%,which is 2.5 times that of pure CuBi2O4 and 2 times that of pure WO3.The working mechanism is explained by radical trapping experiments and photoelectrochemical tests,indicating that the construction of the heterojunction can effectively improve the photoresponse range of the composite photocatalyst,while suppressing the recombination of photogenerated electrons and holes,and realizing the effective separation of photogenerated carriers improved its photocatalytic performance.(2)The catalyst was loaded on the cotton fabric by the reactor hydrothermal method.Various characterizations proved that the WO3/CuBi2O4 photocatalyst was successfully loaded on the surface of the cotton fabric,and then the cotton fabric was tested for UV protection,antibacterial ability and self-cleaning.The results show that the loading of the photocatalyst can endow the fabric with excellent UV protection ability,and has good antibacterial ability against Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans.At the same time,after 12 hours of sunlight exposure,the photocatalyst basically,It can degrade the Rhodamine B dye on the surface of the fabric,and has excellent self-cleaning ability.After washing the fabric for 50 times,the performance of the fabric is also excellent,indicating that it has good washing resistance and reusability,reflecting the great practical utilization potential.
