Case Study On Order Execution Management Of RD Company

Due to the change of economic situation of domestic and international markets,manufacture enterprises in China have to make internal adjustment and improve their operational management to adopt to the change of outside world.RD company is a high-tech company,producing high quality master alloys for aerospace and aviation industry.Technology skill and R＆D capability of RD company are world-leading,and their product quality is well recognized by the customers.Recently,the biggest problem of RD company is that some of their orders were not delivered on time,which heavily damaged their reputation and customer satisfaction level,and this also leads to economical loss and restriction to market development.This thesis is written based on the research object-RD company and it’s all about how to improve their order execution management.First of all,this thesis introduced the basic information of RD company and the industry;then,this thesis has described some typical events which failed for on-time delivery due to some management issues during order execution process;after that,this thesis was investigating the problems and root causes for the failure of order execution management;at last,this thesis made several improvement action plans in production planning,equipment management,supplier management,and inventory management.These improvement action plans were made to improve the company’s order execution management level,radically eliminate delayed order delivery,realize quick response to customer,improve customer satisfaction,and improve economic performance of the company.This thesis helped RD company to adapt to the changed economic situation based on above study,which leads to sustainable development of the company.It’s expected that this thesis can enlighten other similar manufacture enterprises,and help them to improve their management and economic performance.
