The vibration characteristics of the tire directly affect the vehicle noise,ride comfort and operation stability.At present,automobile OEMs pay more and more attention to the vibration characteristics of tires.We mainly characterize the vibration characteristics of the tire by testing the modal characteristics(inherent frequency and damping ratio)and under different excitation of the tire,and modal analysis is a powerful means to study the tire kinetic properties.Modal analysis is divided into computer mode analysis and experimental system mode analysis.Computer mode analysis is to simulate the inherent frequency and damping ratio of the tire in free state,while practical conditions are diversified.Through experimental system mode analysis,we can test the inherent frequency and damping ratio of the tire in free state,fixed state,and load loading state.Due to the variety of working conditions,the complexity of the tire structure,there are many factors affecting the characteristics of the tire mode,not only the impact of the tire structure,but also the impact of the condition setting on the test results during the experiment.Therefore,it is necessary to systematically study and analyze the tire mode characteristics factors.Provide the design basis for the supporting tire.This paper first summarizes the application status of tire mode experimental system at domestic and foreign,and identifies constraints,the ambient temperature,software module setting,tire pressure,rim use,and tire itself structure.During testing,under the three different constraint states,the same vibration pattern;software function setting has little impact on the inherent frequency,but the force hammer sensitivity and frequency domain function(MIF function)are conducive for data analysis;external media such as ambient temperature,rim material and tire pressure also contribute to the inherent frequency;varying different parts of the tire structure can affect the inherent frequency.The systematic discussion and analysis of the influencing factors provides an advantageous means to study and test the tire inherent frequency.
