The production efficiency and quality of the instrument manufacturing industry are highly correlated with the skill and experience of the workers because of the complexity of the process.In the manufacturing process,most enterprises still use the method of visual inspection to inspect the product’s apparent quality.Under the current trend of intelligent manufacturing,it is necessary to improve the production and detection methods of this kind of manufacturing industry,improve the production and manufacturing level of such enterprises and meet the market demand.In this paper,we designed the on-line detection and manufacturing system based on machine vision,including hardware design,software design and production equipment layout design and so on,we studied the on-line detection of machine vision technology deeply,and we taking the piano crown assembly processing instrument manufacturing as the research object to verify the feasibility of the proposed method.The main research work of this paper is as follows:1)Completed the hardware design of the on-line detection system based on machine vision,including the hardware filter and the design of lighting,hardware mainly includes the lighting equipment,image acquisition equipment,induction equipment,control equipment,PC and display equipment and so on.2)Completed The software design of the on-line detection system based on machine vision,including the upper computer image processing module,the lower computer logic control module and the upper and lower computer communication module.PC image processing module mainly is completed on the acquisition of target image detection and recognition,image binarization and gray level to make use of the target image for the image preprocessing,and use Hough circle detection algorithm based on parameter correction and hash matching algorithm for image target feature extraction,recognition and matching.The logic control module of the lower computer is mainly to identify and verify the command data sent by the upper computer,and realize the control function of the production equipment through the control program.Upper and lower position machine communication module and PC mainly builds the effective communication protocols,PC machine down issued orders to the machine according to the command control equipment,at the same time,the under machine reads equipment status data real-time and feedback to the PC.3)Based on people for engineering theory to complete the layout design of production equipment parts,according to the use of the relationship between people and equipment and the interrelation between the devices and equipment,using the relation matrix is established and in relationship matrix and non-human in relationship matrix,finally get comprehensive demand matrix,completed the design layout of production equipment components.4)The above design ideas are realized and applied in the assembly and processing of piano crown of a musical instrument manufacturing.Research results show that,the design of online testing and manufacturing system based on machine vision greatly improved the piano crown assembly processing production efficiency,shorten the assembly processing time by the 76s;At the same time,it fast and accurate to judge whether the screw of the piano crown is faulty and the leakage,and the qualified rate is 97%.It is verified to be feasible and applicable.
