Polystyrene(PS)material has the characteristics of good transparency,high dimensional stability,excellent electrical insulation performance and so on,so it has a very wide range of applications in various fields of life and production.However,due to the poor antioxidant,flame retardant and light resistance properties of PS,it is usually necessary to modify it by adding appropriate antioxidants and flame retardants to improve its aging resistance and flame retardant properties.Especially in recent years,as people pay more and more attention to environmental protection and safety issues,the requirements for material aging and flame retardant have also been improved,and the new antioxidant technology and flame retardant technology have become one of the development directions to solve the flame retardant application of polymer materials.Therefore,from the perspective of structural design,a series of macromolecular antioxidants and macromolecular flame retardants were synthesized and modified with PS composites,and a series of modified polystyrene composites were developed.The main research results of this paper are as follows:1.The antioxidant 1010 active monomer was designed and synthesized,and introduced into the styrene polymerization to synthesize the antioxidant polystyrene(A1010-co-PS),which was added into the processing formula as the additive antioxidant to prepare the antioxidant PS composite material.Compared with small molecular antioxidant 1010,A1010-co-PS has better thermal oxygen aging resistance to PS composites.The mechanical properties of A1010-co-PS composites are not affected by the addition amount of macromolecular antioxidant,and it has higher performance stability.2.Design and synthesize flame retardant DOPO-HQ macromolecule monomer,and introduce styrene polymerization to synthesize flame retardant polystyrene(ADOP-HQ-co-PS),which is used as additive flame retardant in the processing formula to prepare flame retardant PS composite.It is found that the carbon layer will cover the surface of the material,thus effectively protecting the internal material.Compared with the small molecule DOPO-HQ,it can more effectively inhibit the combustion heat,its total heat release and smoke generation are lower,and at the same time has good performance stability.
