Titanium alloy has excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.It is appropriate for manufacturing light-weight and high-duty components.It has been widely applied in aerospace,armamentarium and other domains.But in the meantime,the processing performance of titanium alloy is poor,and the bonding and work hardening during the cutting process lead to matters such as fast tool failure and Poor quality of finished surface.Seriously restrict the application of titanium alloys.Therefore,The purpose of this article is improve the surface quality and reduce tool wear,Integrated finite element simulation software and milling test of titanium alloy,to study the cutting edge passivation morphology and the effect of supercritical carbon dioxide low temperature micro lubrication on the properties of TC11 titanium alloy.The content mainly includes the following aspects:First of all,use Advantedge FEM software to simulate,model the tool edge,perform cutting simulation and test verification,and analyze the effect of tool edge passivation on chip deformation,stress and strain,cutting temperature,cutting force and cutting vibration with cutting simulation and milling test consequences.Secondly,under dry and supercritical carbon dioxide micro-lubrication conditions,tools with different cutting edge passivation appearances were used to execute the cutting test of TC11.The surface roughness and surface morphology were measured by white-light interferometer,to study the influence of different supercritical carbon dioxide trace lubrication and cutting edge passivation on the surface roughness,and the wavelet function is used to Split and combine the three-dimensional surface signal into low frequency and high frequency,break down the influence of supercritical carbon dioxide trace lubrication and cutting edge passivation on the height of the residual surface area and surface defects.Then,wire-cut the processed surface under part of the test conditions to make test blocks.Use SEM,Vickers hardness tester and X-ray stress meter to measure plastic distortion,strain hardening and remaining stress in the machined surface.research the influence of supercritical carbon dioxide trace lubrication and cutting edge passivation on the fine texture,strain hardening and remaining stress of the processed surface.Finally,in view of the wear problem of milling TC11 titanium alloy tools,the tool life test of milling TC11 with different cooling conditions and edge passivation morphology was carried out,and the influence of cooling conditions and edge passivation on tool life and wear was analyzed,and the wear mechanism was studied.
