The self-designed operating system for making spectacle frames in this paper will help to improve the traditional purchase and production of glasses,and meet the needs of personalized products for customers.It will build an operational platform for interaction design between users and enterprises,and to raise the switching speed of the production processes from one to another.The self-designed operating system for making spectacle frames is a development based on SolidWorks and Visual Basic.And an user-driven product customization model is realized by synthesizing the technological development route with 3D printing technology.First of all,this paper analyzes the situation and shortcomings of the glasses industry,and it is necessary to reform the glasses industry.So the research route is determined according to the requirements of innovative design and processing of glasses.Secondly,The overall plan of the design and manufacture of spectacle frame is analyzed,the purchase data of spectacle frames are analyzed based on the national standard data of human face and head.The main parameters of the glass frame are determined when the user carries on the independent design.SolidWorks and Visual Basic are studied in this paper,as the design tools for the research platform of eyeglass frame production designed by users.the methods of modeling and the determination principle of size are also analyzed.This paper studies the secondary development technology of SolidWorks.By SolidWorks and Visual Basic,user-friendly independent EXE file is generated,user-Independent Design Platform of glass frames is developed.Furthermore,This paper analyses the maturing 3D printing technology from the aspects of processing and business mode.The feasibility of 3D printing of spectacle frame is studied from the aspects of processing time,workpiece placement and consumables.This paper studies the online and offline sales mode,and analyzes the feasibility of the design and production sales mode.Finally,this paper tests the research platform of spectacle frame making designed by users,verify the successful operation of the platform.And test the 3D printed spectacle frame which combined with general requirements for frames.It is verified that the 3D printed frame can meet the requirements of international standards,and the feasibility of the experimental scheme in this paper is also confirmed.The research shows that itcan help to apply advanced design technology to achieve production and sales for enterprises by using the ideas and methods described in this paper,and can also enable users to achieve their own personalized requirements when purchasing glasses.So the researchhas a specific level of applicability.
