| MTQ is a kind of silicone resin with cross-linked network structure.For the excellent light transmittance and thermal stability,it has attracted attention in LED packaging.Compared with the thermosetting MTQ resin,the photopolymerizable MTQ resin has the advantages of rapid curing,however,it can’t meet the packaging requirements of LED because of the small variety of photopolymerizable MTQ resin.Therefore,the photopolymerizable MTQ resin was synthesized by the copolymerization hydrolysis reaction of organosiloxane monomer in this paper.By changing the type of siloxane monomer and the proportion in the copolymerization reaction,and the performance of the synthesized resin and its application in LED packaging were systematically investigated.The main research contents of this paper include:The UV curable MTQ resin was synthesized by using the organosiloxane monomer-y-(methacryloxy)propyltrimethoxysilane(KH-570)with the photopolymerizable group acrylic acid group;the MDTQ resin(D:T=1:1)and MDTQ(M:D=1:1)with better thermal stability were synthesized by using the organosiloxane monomer with the benzene ring;the thiol organosiloxane was used SH-MTQ resin was synthesized.The MTQ resin can be photopolymerized effectively.The higher the content of HS-MTQ,the higher the conversion rate and the faster the conversion rate.LED packaging experiments show that when MTQ:Ph-MTQ:HS-MTQ:the initiator is 80:16:4:2,it only needs 20 seconds to cure under the radiation of 398nm.In the range of 390nm and above,the transmittance of the packaging material can reach more than 90%.After aging under the radiation of NUV for 144 hours,the UV cured MTQ shows excellent UV resistance.It was found that the output power is 7.8%higher than that of the bare chip when 392nm NUV led was encapsulated with this MTQ resin.After aging for 480 hours under 200 Ma driving current,392 nm NUV LED and 450 nm blue LED show similar stability and reliability in thermal curing and UV curing packaging,which proves that the synthesized UV curable MTQ resin can be used for UV,blue and white LED packaging,with high efficiency and stability. |
