Chirality exists widely in nature.Supramolecular chirality is produced by the interaction between molecules in the process of self-assembly,and it is the result of the special spatial arrangement of molecules.By studying chiral self-assembly from molecular to supramolecular levels, the chiral behavior of complex biological systems can be simulated.Such research can not only enhance the cognition of living systems, but also facilitate the development of new functional systems of chiral molecules, which is of great significance in the field of biomedicine. The communication and transmission of chiral information play a important role in nature. In this thesis,we hope to explore the chiral transmission behavior in artificial molecular systems by studying the chiral metal-organic cages. In this paper,a new type of ligand with a double-layer structure is designed, including inner layer and outer layer. After the ligand is coordinated with the metal,a metal-organic cage can be obtained. The inner layer can produce helical chirality and the outer layer can produce axial chirality. The experimental results prove that, the axial chirality of the outer layer can be induced to produce a response through the host-guest interaction between the cage cavity and the chiral guest, and the chiral transmission can be achieved from inside to outside of the cage. However,if the chiral groups are directly introduced into the outer layer, the helical chirality of the inner layer can be induced to respond, and a chiral cavity can be obtained to control the cage to recognize a chiral guest, which indicates that the chiral transmission from outside to inside of the cage can be achieved. The research shows that this design can realize the chiral information exchange and transmission between inside and outside of the cage.
