Polyvinyl chloride(PVC)is a kind of thermoplastic resin.Because of its excellent flame retardancy,mechanical properties and chemical resistance,it is widely used in daily life.The main components of the nonmetallic part(N-PCB)separated from the wasted printed circuit boards are glass fiber and thermosetting resin.Filling them into the PVC resin can significantly improve the mechanical properties of PVC and solve the problem of N-PCB to the environment,which can also provide a way for the recycling of N-PCB.This paper uses N-PCB filled PVC to prepare composite materials,explores the optimal formula of PVC processing aids,and tries to modify PVC with high-filled N-PCB,and studies the effect of N-PCB on the comprehensive properties of composite materials.The experimental results show that the optimal formulation of PVC additives is that the processing modifier ACR401 is 6phr,the AC blowing agent is 3phr,and the nucleating agent is 5phr.When the filling amount of N-PCB is 70wt%,the overall performance of the PVC/N-PCB composite is the best,with the tensile strength and flexural strength reaching 61.3MPa and 113.9MPa.We also introduce phase change materials into PVC composites to obtain phase change characteristics.When the external temperature rises,the material can perform phase transformation by absorbing heat,thereby slowing down the rate of temperature rise of the composite and improving the heat resistance.In this paper,we mainly use polyethylene glycol(PEG)as solid-liquid phase change materials and polyol as solid-solid phase change materials.The experimental results show that PVC can be used as the styling substrate of PEG,and the phase change composite prepared has good phase change characteristics,but PEG will increase the plasticity of the material and reduce its mechanical properties.The compatibility of PG and PVC is relatively better,and the composites has good mechanical properties and phase change characteristics.In addition,after adding N-PCB as a reinforcing filler,the mechanical properties and heat resistance of the composites can be improved.In this paper,PEG and PG were compounded according to the mass ratio of 1:1 to obtain a PG-PEG binary composite system and blended with PVC to prepare a new type of PVC-based phase change composite material.Furthermore,the prepared PVC composite material is molded as a sheet by molding method,and we try to make it as a backing plate for PCB drilling.By testing its drilling performance,we explore the feasibility of its application in industrial production.The experimental results show that the addition of phase change materials can improve the pulling condition around the holes on the plate and reduce the amount of debris generated by the excessive temperature of the drill bit.Moreover,the higher the N-PCB content in the plate,the higher its hardness,the greater the drilling accuracy,and the smaller the amount of debris on the plate.
