There are only a few wells are producing in Chang 8 and Chang 9 layers of baitugou oil field.In order to improve the development,research of stratigraphic division,sedimentary microfacies synthesizing,and study of sand distribution is conducted.C811 and C911 are the major oil-generating layers,the sandstones of which have somewhat good geological continuity.The study aimed at building a three-dimensional geological model of the study area using Petrel software by taking sedimentary microfacies into account.We carried out a systematic research of the study area including analyzing the attribution of decline production and shutting down in these production wells.the distribution of oil wells and the distribution of reservoir properties has motivated us to identify three different areas:the high-potential oil-producing area should accordingly fall in the region marked as Area Ⅰ,a medium-potential oil-producing area would fall in the region named as Area Ⅱ,and a low-potential oil-producing area would fall on the regime defined as Area Ⅲ.The different oil production potentials in these three areas can be attributed to the distribution of sedimentary facies,the structure of the study area,and the different patterns of well patterns.The production measures to increase the reservoir pressure by water injection were determined.Due to the lack of formation energy,there are injection wells that have been injecting water into the study area at a speed of 30 to 35 m3 per day,which lasts for around 6 to 7 months.we fixed the reasonable injection-production ratio in the whole region at 2.2,the reasonable formation pressure maintained ranging from 107%to 116%.Three types of injection-production well patterns were designed,respectively,diamond-shaped reverse nine-point directional well pattern,rectangular directional well pattern and horizontal well pattern.by using CMG reservoir numerical simulation,we have figured out the optimal adjustment plan regarding the layout of horizontal wells.Compared with the previous scheme,the improvement of horizontal well pattern has increased the oil recovery by 16.1%.reasonable well spacing fixed at 500m,row spacing settled at 150m,reasonable bottom hole flow pressure kept at about 6 MPa,and reasonable injectionproduction ratio of 2.0.This study provides technical support for improving the water injection development effect of the Baitugou Chang 8 and Chang 9 oil layers,and the research results are of great significance for improving the water injection development effect of similar oil fields.
