With the improvement of people's material living standard,the development of functional fabrics has developed in the direction of the combination of multi-functional compound and comfortable use,in particular,the combination of chemical fiber and natural fiber which have the function of heat preservation and antibacterial can make up for each other's shortcomings and give full play to each other's excellent properties.On the other hand,Kapok fiber is not fully developed and applied because of its short length and low strength,and there is a bottleneck problem that traditional ring spinning can not be used alone.Therefore,this topic will far-infrared function heating polyester fiber and Kapok,cotton and other natural fibers blended yarn,to explore the influence of different spinning parameters on the performance of the yarn,while further increasing the Kapok fiber content in the yarn,four kinds of blended yarn with different content of Kapok were spun,and new multifunctional fabrics with different structure were designed and developed.It is of great significance to expand the application range of Kapok fiber in textiles and improve the utilization ratio of kapok fiber.The specific findings of the study are as follows:(1)The speed of cylinder and doffer is 330r/min and 6.2r/min respectively in carding process,and the two-pass drawing is used in drawing,but the secondary drawing of the sliver containing kapok fiber should be avoided,the total drawing ratio is 6.6,the four-up and four-down curve drafting with roller gauge of 50mm/52mm/55 mm is adopted,the total drafting multiple of roving should not be too large,only 6 times should be selected,the twist factor should be 65,and the speed should be slow,otherwise,the yarn is prone to irregularity and defects.(2)The spinning speed is 15997r/min,the roller speed is 14.53m/min,and the spinning twist is 700twist/m and the back zone draft is 1.25 by comparing the different spinning parameters.The winding speed is lower,and the number of winding roots is 2.In order to avoid the untwisting phenomenon of plied yarn in double twisting process,the twist should be moderate,the size is 670twist/m,the twist direction is z twist.Four kinds of 18.5tex far infrared polyester/kapok/cotton functional blended yarn with different Kapok fiber content were successfully spun to ensure the yarn spinnability and further improve the utilization ratio of kapok fiber.The blending ratios of far infrared polyester,kapok fiber and cotton fiber are 60/20/20,60/25/15,60/30/10,50/40/10 respectively.By testing and analyzing,the yarn properties of blended yarn are excellent,and all the indexes are good.(3)The far infrared polyester/kapok/cotton functional blended yarn spun in this project can be used to design and develop into shirts,bedsheets and other textiles.Through testing,the far infrared polyester/kapok/cotton yarn with different Kapok content has different influence on the fabric performance.The more kapok content will improve the warm-keeping and anti-bacterial performance of the fabric,and it is light and comfortable,but the fabric strength and anti-pilling ability will be reduced.When the blending ratio of far infrared polyester/kapok/cotton fiber is 60/30/10,the fabric can meet the requirements of light weight,warmth-keeping,antibacterial and the basic wearability is the best.(4)Based on plain weave,3/1 right twill,5/3 weft satin and honeycomb weave based on 1 up and 3 down,a new type of warm,antibacterial and comfortable fabric has been developed,which meets the needs of the development of the times,and has a broad market prospect.The far-infrared polyester/kapok/cotton fiber functional blend fabric with four kinds of structures has good wearing performance and function.Among them,plain fabric has the best strength,satin fabric has the best friction performance,wearing and function,honeycomb fabric has the best warmth and antibacterial performance,but the comfort and hand feel are poor.(5)The properties of fabrics with different kapok content and structure were evaluated by grey near optimum method,and the best properties of satin fabrics with far infrared polyester/kapok/cotton fiber blending ratio of 60/30/10 were obtained.When the content of kapok fiber is 30% and the weave structure of the fabric is satin,the fabric has excellent warm-keeping and antibacterial properties,and is light and comfortable,so it is suitable for the design and development of warm-keeping products in autumn and winter and meets the market demand.
