As many new materials are widely used in the field of aerospace manufacturing,in order to ensure the strength and service life of the connection hole during assembly,there are generally higher requirements for the quality of the drilling.However,in the traditional drilling process,the chips are longer,the burr is more,and the hole processing quality is not good.The research group found that the axial low-frequency vibration can reduce the average axial force during the drilling process,promote the discharge of chips,reduce the drilling temperature,and improve the processing quality.However,there are some problems with the existing low-frequency vibration drilling equipment on the market: the vibration parameters cannot be adjusted and the stability is not enough,the vibration motor has the problem of self-synchronization,and the weight and volume are too large to be compact.Therefore,by using vibration drilling technology,a cam mechanism-type vibration drilling device is developed in this paper.Compared with the existing vibration drilling equipment on the market,the device has stable vibration parameters and reduced volume and weight.Experiments show that axial low-frequency vibration drilling significantly improves drilling quality.The main research results of this article are as follows:1.A cam mechanism-type vibration drilling device is developed,using the cam mechanism to achieve axial low-frequency vibration drilling;designed and built a PLC control system to achieve various spindle speed,feed speed and direction,force feedback,etc.Precise control of parameters.2.A spring mass dynamic model of the cam-type vibration drilling mechanism is establishing,and verifying the "floating" phenomenon of the cam mechanism by analyzing the model’s dynamic stability and vibration test.Finally,the stability conditions and spring stiffness design criteria of the cam mechanism are given.3.For aerospace aluminum alloy drilling test research,it is found that compared with traditional drilling,axial low-frequency vibration can significantly reduce the average axial force and temperature during drilling.Through chip shape comparison,verify the effect of chip breaking on vibration drilling Study the influence of amplitude on chip size;observe the burr height at the exit of aluminum alloy,analyze the main causes of burr height,and study the influence of vibration parameters on reducing the burr height at the exit.Experiments show that reasonable selection of vibration parameters can significantly improve the surface quality of hole processing.
