Nowadays,with the popularization of lighting and display applications and the improvement of people's living standards,the demand for high-standard display technology is becoming more and more urgent.At present,most light sources of display backlights use phosphors,which are limited by the larger half-height width of the fluorescent light,which results in lower color performance of the display device.In recent years,new types of colloidal semiconductor materials such as quantum dots and nanosheets have received extensive attention.Narrow linewidth,high color purity,adjustable spectrum,and high quantum yield have made them a research hotspot.Frontier areas such as display and display have a bright future.This article mainly discusses the related research of CdSe nanosheets in display backlight application.First,in this paper,a one-pot method was used to synthesize green CdSe nanosheets,and a pure nanosheet solution was obtained by improving the purification scheme.The fluorescence spectrum showed that the nanosheets had extremely narrow fluorescence half-height width,ultra-high color purity,and further through Observation by electron microscope showed that the nanosheets had good growth morphology,uniform size and good monodispersity,and green CdSe nanosheets with a wavelength of 530 nm were prepared.Then,based on the previously synthesized CdSe nanosheets,we used atomic layer deposition to sequentially grow an S layer and a Cd layer on the surface of the nanosheet core,and finally covered four CdS shell layers.With the wrapping of the shell,we found that the fluorescence wavelength of the nanosheets will gradually red-shift,and the phenomenon of spectral broadening will occur.Next,the effect of the thickness of the CdS shell layer on the quantum quantum yield of the nanosheets was studied.As the number of shell layers increased,the quantum yield showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing,and a preliminary analysis of this phenomenon was given.In order to increase the stability of CdSe nanosheets and prolong the service life of the material,the surface of CdSe nanosheets was coated with SiO2 shell through the improved reverse microemulsion method.It will not change the optical properties of nanosheet cores and their growth morphology.It has been proved by ultraviolet light experiments that both CdS and SiO2 shells can provide a good protection for the core and enhance the light stability of the nanosheets,which is conducive to the commercial production of nanosheets in display backlight applications.Finally,based on the green CdSe@SiO2nanosheets and the red CdSe/CdS nanosheets,excited by the blue LED chip,a white LED device was prepared.Based on this,the color gamut of the display background light source can reach 122.2%NTSC Examined other device performance indicators.
