Research On The Application Of Dimensional Transformation In Fashion Design

With the development of contemporary fashion design,it is no longer possible to design via a single dimension,such as clothing styles,structures and colors,to satisfy human's demands.More and more dimensional directions appear in the study of fashion design.The development of science and technology has deepened people's understanding of clothes.Contemporary artists have realized the possibility of applying the dimensional transformation to artistic works.According to the guidance of the four-dimensional fashion design concept,fashion designers use the dimensional transformation of design elements to achieve the design effects,which is difficult to show by a single dimension.Adding or reducing the limitation of direction in original dimensional space,this study discuss the dimensional translation to achieve the various expression of design elements through the change of dimensional perspective.This study first sorts out the domestic and foreign fashion design works and research theories of dimensional transformation,analyzes the reasons for the application and development of dimensional transformation in fashion design,and summarizes the manifestation of the application of dimensional transformation in clothing based on design cases.It summarized cases into two categories: one-way conversion of dimensionality and two-way conversion of dimensionality.This paper uses images,fabrics,and structures as expression carriers,experimental researches on the application methods of these two forms of expression are carried out,and they are found and developed to be suitable for expressing themselves.The direction and method of the design work.Finally,three design schemes were formed.According to the experiment of the application method of dimensional transformation in fashion design,this study perfected the design scheme and clothing structures.Based on current popular silhouettes,colors,fabrics,and craftsmanship,designer made a series of ready-made garments and recorded the process of experiments to present final outcomes.This paper takes the design method of dimensional conversion as the guide,combines the creative concept to make a series of garments via three design directions of dimensionality,which is reduction conversion of three-dimensional space images,torsion and integration of clothing internal structure,and overlapping changes of dynamic clothing.Finally this study uses garment as a carrier to recreate and integrate design elements,materials and styles.It deepens the design details of garments,and improves the overall collocation.In summary,the application research and practice of dimensional transformation in fashion design can provide diversified perspectives for the transformation of fashion design language.It helps to realize the innovation of garment design form and provides Multi-angle design direction for integrating different elements,materials and technology.
