Chloroprene rubber(CR)has good oil resistance,corrosion resistance,and mechanical properties.Natural rubber has excellent mechanical properties and good wear resistance.Chlorinated butyl rubber has the characteristics of being co-vulcanized with other rubbers.It can improve the compatibility of neoprene and natural rubber.The combination of three kinds of rubbers can achieve a good balance of wear resistance and oil resistance.This article carried out a series of researches on the NR/CR/CIIR combined system.The modified-HNTs and HNT_S/NR/CR/CIIR composite material was prepared,and the effect of modified halloysite nanotubes on the composite material performance was analyzed through vulcanization performance,mechanical performance,RPA,wear-resistance,and oil resistance.Finally,we studied the role of modified halloysite nanotubes in replacing silica.The research results are as follows:(1)The mechanical properties,dry grinding,wet grinding,and oil resistance of NR/CR/CIIR combined rubbers with different ratios were studied by experiments.The study found that with the increase of the content of neoprene,the oil resistance of the combined rubber gradually improved,the wet abrasion increased,and the dry abrasion decreased.When the combined glue ratio was 1:3:1,its comprehensive performance reached its best.In addition,the rubbers of different vulcanization systems have better performance when they were separately mixed.(2)Covalent and non-covalent modification of new green filler halloysite nanotubes(HNTs)with the silane coupling agent KH570 and dopamine were studied.The silane coupling agent could be dehydrated and condensed with the hydroxyl group on the outer surface of the halloysite nanotube to form a Si-O-Si bond,and dopamine could form a polymer to be adsorbed on the surface of the kaolin nanotube.XRD,TGA,analysis showed that silane coupling agents and dopamine interact with halloysite nanotubes.TEM analysis showed that KH570 and dopamine were successfully coated on the outer surface of halloysite nanotubes.(3)The effect of modified halloysite nanotubes(modified-HNTs)on the properties of the combined glue was studied,and the mechanical properties of the modified halloysite nanotube composites were significantly improved.Modified halloysite nanotubes had better reinforcing properties than silica.When the amount of modified halloysite nanotubes to replace silica was 10 phr,the mechanical properties of the composite were the best.Continuing to add modified halloysite nanotubes Stone nanotubes would cause halloysite nanotubes to agglomerate and reduce mechanical properties.RPA analysis showed that theΔE’of the composite material decreased in the presence of the modifier.The loss factor of modified halloysite nanotube composites was increased.It’s indicated that the modified halloysite nanotubes could be well dispersed in the rubber matrix,and the interaction between filler and rubber was enhanced.
