E-sports has achieved rapid development in my country in recent years,and the scale of e-sports professional players and e-sports youth training athletes is getting bigger and bigger.Compared with the rapidly developing industry scale,the visual health and occupational protection issues of e-sports youth training athletes in the long-term training process are worrying.E-sports has the characteristics of long-term continuous work.A large amount of blue light exposure on the screen makes these young athletes face a nonnegligible risk of visual fatigue and potential blue light damage.Research on the safety threshold of retinal damage caused by long-term accumulation of blue light at home and abroad is still inconclusive.The e-sports industry lacks relevant professional protection standards and recommendations,and domestic e-sports training and competitions rarely have blue-light protection measures.In response to the above problems,this article starts from the perspective of blue light protection in e-sports training,measures and evaluates the potential cumulative risk of blue light in the light environment of e-sports training.Competitive work performance and visual fatigue effects provide references for professional protection of e-sports and related industry standards.The research content and results specifically include:(1)Theoretical research: combing through the impact of blue light on the human body at the three levels of visual effects,blue light hazards and non-visual effects,and proposed that the blue light protection of e-sports operations should be based on the twoway mechanism of blue light as the starting point,and by exploring reasonable blue light The shielding range and shielding ratio can reduce the risk of training visual fatigue and potential blue light hazards on the basis of ensuring normal training;(2)Investigation and research: measured and evaluated the blue light hazard levels in different e-sports training spaces,and investigated the visual fatigue characteristics of youth training players in e-sports operations.The weighted irradiance of blue light in 16 domestic e-sports training spaces is within a safe range,but its individual spectral peak wavelengths are still in the short-wave range less than 450nm;the incidence of visual fatigue self-evaluation among e-sports youth trainers is relatively high,among which Eye surface fatigue symptoms such as dry eyes,sore eyes,and heavy eyelids are the most prominent;(3)Research on light environment preference of e-sports work: Summarized the characteristics of light environment preference of League of Legends youth training players under the three experimental conditions of naked eyes,35% blue light shielding,and 55% blue light shielding.League of Legends youth training players have a lower preference for illuminance.The average desktop illuminance preference for naked eyes is 260.2lx.The higher the blue light protection ratio,the higher the preference for light environment;(4)Research on the influence of blue light protection ratio on the visual fatigue of e-sports operations: The influence of blue light shielding ratio on the visual fatigue and visual performance of e-sports operations was explored through two existing blue light protective goggles of 35% and 55%.In e-sports training,blue light protective glasses can reduce the level of blue light hazards that enter the human eye.The actual blue light hazard protection effect is related to the spectral distribution characteristics of the training light environment and the transmission coefficient distribution of the protective glasses.The blue light protection of e-sports training should comprehensively consider the factors of training intensity and blue-light protection dose.The experiments in this article show that 35% blue light protection can improve the symptoms of visual fatigue during longterm(4 hours)e-sports training,and short-term e-sports training The medium effect is not obvious.An excessively high(55%)blue light protection ratio may have a negative effect and aggravate the visual fatigue of long-term work.The effect of blue light protection on the performance of e-sports operations is not clear.Although the higher the protection ratio,the more obvious the decline in vigilance and color discrimination in operations,but experiments show that this does not directly affect the performance of e-sports training,and the performance of color perception is more important.Influencing subjects' acceptance and satisfaction with blue light protective goggles,55% of the protection ratio has poorer satisfaction with color vision and visual comfort,and 35% of the protection ratio has a higher overall acceptance.On the whole,blue light protective goggles have a certain positive effect on the visual health of e-sports players.In the follow-up research and professional protection practice of e-sports,a suitable blue light protection scheme should be selected in combination with specific operating characteristics and subjective preferences.
