In recent years,society's demand for energy saving and consumption reduction in industrial production has been increasing,and the steel industry,as a high pollution,high energy consumption and high emission industry,energy saving and consumption reduction and green production are imminent.The converter unit is an important production link in the steel production process,and improving the material energy conversion efficiency of the converter unit is conducive to the efficient use of energy in steel enterprises.In this paper,the energy optimization of converter unit is studied from the aspects of material energy conversion analysis,energy prediction and energy optimization of converter unit.The paper takes the converter as the research object,and defines the carbon and oxygen conversion rate according to the main material energy conversion of the converter unit.A research method based on pattern classification is proposed to classify the production data into patterns according to raw materials and steel types,and to establish a model for predicting converter gas production based on patterns.The correlation vector machine is used as the base model and tested with actual data,and the test results show that the prediction model has a hit rate of 81.60% within ±5% relative error.For the converter unit energy optimization problem,the converter unit energy optimization model based on the regulation of furnace oxygen consumption and oxygen supply intensity is proposed.The model is based on the optimization objectives of improving the carbon and oxygen conversion rate and shortening the blowing time,and regulating the oxygen consumption and the oxygen supply intensity of the furnace,which is solved by the Gray Wolf optimization algorithm.The optimized model was tested with actual production data of the steel mill,and the optimized blowing time was reduced by up to 9.94% and the carbon and oxygen conversion rate was increased by up to 17.40% compared with the pre-optimized model,which shows that the optimized model can achieve the purpose of improving the energy conversion efficiency of the converter unit and shortening the blowing time.Based on the study of the material-energy conversion relationship of the converter unit,a converter unit energy conversion function module was developed.The module enables real-time monitoring of the converter production and displays the calculation results of the prediction model and the optimization model.At the same time,the user can query and download the historical production data of the converter through the converter unit energy conversion function module.In this paper,from the converter unit energy optimization problem,the converter gas production prediction model and converter unit energy optimization model are established based on the research method of pattern classification.The model is tested with actual data,and the test results prove the effectiveness of the established model,which can provide reference for steel mill production operation.
