With the rapid development of automation equipment and industrial robot technology,the industrial transformation of the manufacturing industry has been accelerated,and enterprises have ushered in a golden period of industrialization,information and intelligent development.In the field of iron and steel,special steel is widely used in national defense,railway transportation,aerospace,navigation and other important fields.In order to improve the production quality of special steel,it is necessary to trace the whole production process.In the production,marking the information code with production information on the end face of the special steel bars has become an indispensable link.At present,many steel mills still use manual marking methods to mark special steel.This method is not only inefficient and dangerous,but also has poor aesthetics,which increases the difficulty of subsequent machine vision recognition.In view of this situation,it is of great significance to study a control system of code spraying robot instead of manual marking for special steel bars.This article analyzes the existing industrial robots and code spraying equipment,and combines the requirements of steel mills for code spraying and marking,and builds a special steel bar code spraying robot that combines a Cartesian coordinate robot and a coding machine.According to the finishing production process of special steel bars,the position of the character marks on special steel bars was determined.The working principle of the code spraying marking was analyzed,and the overall scheme of the mechanical system and control system of the code spraying robot was designed.The control mode of the motion controller establishes a dual CPU working mode,which improves the operating speed and stability of the system.The hardware of the code spraying robot control system is selected,the overall circuit and control circuit of the control system are designed,the assembly and debugging of the control system are completed,and the coding robot prototype is built to pave the way for the subsequent experiments of the code spraying robot control system.The trajectory planning of Cartesian coordinate robot is carried out,and the calculation method of motion feed of each axis is proposed.MATLAB is used to write the control system program and operation interface of the code spraying robot.The communication between the code spraying robot system and the steel plant database is established,the data in the database is read,inserted and modified,and the industrial experiment verification of the code spraying robot control system in the steel plant is completed.The code spraying robot control system designed in this paper can effectively solve the problems of low manual marking efficiency and poor aesthetics,and realize automatic marking.It can communicate with the steel mill database,read and insert the database in real time,and strengthen the database management.At the production site,the coding robot control system is used to mark the bars,which verified the feasibility of the system and met the production requirements of the steel mill.
