Research On The Male Clothing In The Northern Dynasty Based On Tomb Art

The costumes of Wei Jin,southern and northern dynasties played an important role in the development of ancient Chinese costumes.During this period,Xianbei culture,Han culture and Western culture intermingled and conflicted with each other,which had a great influence on the later dynasties.This thesis focuses on the period from 386 ad to 581 ad,when Emperor Wen of Sui Emperor Wen of Sui founded the Sui Dynasty and Emperor Wu built the Kingdom of Gui.By using the methods of literature,Image Analysis and market research,it is found that the male images in the north dynasty are mainly over clothes and trousers,or wear caps or caps.Based on the visual images and historical documents of the art of burials in the North Dynasty,this paper divides the male clothing into three types: Head clothing,body clothing and foot clothing,a statistical breakdown of Northern Court's male image in terms of geography.The study found that there was no hierarchy in the early northern Wei men's clothing.The men and women,the musicians and even the tomb owners were all dressed in a black cap and a knee-length robe with a narrow cross-necked collar.After Emperor Xiaowen moved his capital to Luoyang and implemented Sinicization,the sleeves of the costume became wider and wider,forming the style of “Baoyibodai”.After the split of the Northern Wei Dynasty,the costumes of Western Wei,eastern Wei,northern Qi and northern Zhou still followed the style of the Han ethnic group,with loose clothes as the main style,while also retaining some early northern Wei costumes,but the form also changes with the development of the Times.It can be said that the Han civilization and the nomadic civilization together gave birth to a new vitality and vitality of the northern civilization.
