Cultural Study Of Manchu "Chang" Clothes In The Late Qing Dynasty

This article takes the Manchu “Chang” Clothes in the late Qing Dynasty as the main research object.Through consulting literature,collecting and disposing information comprehensively to the specimen of “Chang” Clothes,which is selflessly provided by the collector Wang Jinhua,and recover the structural drawings.So we use the research method of literature and cultural relics to interact with each other.The article gives an investigation which mainly focuses on the origin and evolution of “Chang” Clothes,its shape characteristics,decoration style,the people who dress,the occasions,the suitability,its structural characteristics,and the influence of the cultural integration of Manchu and Han culture and the social changes in the late Qing Dynasty.This paper is divided into three main parts.The first part is the research on the origin and heritage of the “Chang” Clothes.Under the influence of the clothing culture of the Han Ethnic Group,the “Chang” Clothes evolved from the traditional Manchu robes.The fabric,embroidery patterns and color configuration of the garment have formed an artistic style with unique ethnic and contemporary characteristics,and contain rich and diverse cultural connotations.The second part is the study on the relationship between the regularity of taking the cloak and human body.The use of the “Chang” Clothes in season,occasion and even the matching of the dress strictly follow the customs and customs of the Manchu society,with a strict system of dress etiquette.In addition,through the in-depth study of the structure of the“Chang” Clothes,this paper clarified the characteristics of the structure of the “Chang” Clothes on the one hand,and on the other hand,discussed the lifestyle and aesthetic standards of Manchu women,and thus examined the social status of Manchu women.The third part is the study of the culture of the “Chang” Clothes and the social and cultural change it reflects.As a typical costume of manchu women in the late Qing Dynasty,the style and style of the“Chang” Clothes were influenced by different ethnic cultures,ideologies and aesthetic tendencies.Starting from the ethnic culture and social reform reflected in the “Chang” Clothes of Manchu in the late Qing Dynasty,this paper discusses the social and cultural information reflected behind the change of the “Chang” Clothes style.Finally,the conclusion: First,as a typical Manchu female costume in the late Qing Dynasty,the “Chang” Clothes of Manchu shows the charm of Manchu clothing culture in the late Qing Dynasty with its classic style and shape,exquisite craftsmanship,magnificent decoration style and exquisite wearing rules.Second,the “Chang” Clothes,as an ethnic costume,combines the cultural thoughts of Manchu and the traditional cultural style of Han,which reflects the initiative and selectivity of Manchu culture in absorbing Han culture.Third,the change in the style of the “Chang” Clothes was the result of the combined effect of social culture,ideology and artistic style of the late Qing Dynasty,reflecting the transformation of social culture and ideology of the late Qing Dynasty.
