A Analysis Of Turkey's Marbling Art And Innovative Application In Fashion Design

Turkey's Ebru is a traditional art,a term belonging to an ancient Central Asian language,called Paper Marbling in English.Ebru refers to the moire-textured paper covering some manuscripts and scriptures,which means "marbled paper art" in Turkish and is known in China as Turkish paper marbling art.In the process of rapid development of modern society,traditional handicrafts such as Turkey's Marbling paper art,as the common cultural heritage of mankind,are facing huge crises and challenges.How to achieve inheritance with the help of new technologies is a topic worth exploring.This paper takes Turkey's Ebru as the title and narrates its historical development,present situation,art form,production process and application cases in art design.Hopefully more people will learn about this traditional art.Through practice,the author experiences the design and production techniques of wet extension art,and innovatively applies Turkey's Ebru art in costume design.It is hoped that this design practice can provide creative ideas for those who are interested in this traditional craft and love traditional handicraft.
